The claim is that there is Malware on the websites, obviously in order to scare readers away from them, attempting to force readers to get their news from the liberal MSM.

For those wanting to check their own browser for this Web Shield, go to your settings, or the three grey dots, top right on your browser, the go to security and privacy, and if Web Shied is there are active, turn it off unless you want them to try to scare you away from Independent News.

TRUTH HAS NOT BEEN APPROVED...

We at ANP know these things to be true because many of them happened to us.

First Facebook terminated my account without a chance of appeal. Then YouTube, owned by Google, demonetized us. Then Google disabled ads on our site, but would lift the ban if we complied and removed content not approved by them, including our reporting on Covid, the lockdowns, the vaccine deaths, the elections, the climate hoax, and anything else where we "contradict authoritative, scientific consensus."

NewsGuard blocked us from the ability to use GumGum ads, which are ads shown within the images on a website, as to not take up any additional space since the images are already there.

For those that cannot read it easily, it states "GumGum utilizes NewsGuard to verify brand safety and your site is under the minimum threshold we accept."

ANP readers may remember a comment I made about working on getting a new set of ads on ANP, which would allow us to remove a couple that generate lower revenue and be less dependent on donations, which we did not start asking for until after we started being deplatformed, and previous advertisers choking our revenue generation.

Well, after weeks of back and forth, jumping through hoops, approving advertisers, we are told now "Unfortunately, it seems that the site has a block from Google,"  adding that if that is so they would not be able to cooperate, meaning no new ad. 39 emails since September 25, to get this going, that was the end result, of a company, Vidverto, that first approached us, not the other way around.

Thanks Google.

BOTTOM LINE

When readers see notes on Independent Media websites asking for donations as we do here at ANP, this is the reason. 

In order to report the truth, without being forced to toe the "official narrative" line, we have to accept ads that make the least amount of money since Google's predatory practices make it nearly impossible to survive on ad revenue alone, and the federally funded NewsGuard are scaring advertisers into thinking advertising on conservative-leaning is unsafe for their brands.

This new labeling of websites such as Breitbart and The Federalist, along with others that probably don't even know that Web Shield is targeting them, seems to be a beta test ahead of the 2024 presidential elections, to prevent Independent Media from bypassing, and countering the liberal MSM as we all collectively did in 2016 to get Trump elected.

Readers can hep in a number of ways. 

Donations are critical to keep ANP and other smaller Independent Media websites online.

If your browser has Web Shield turned on, and you get the message falsely claiming that "this site contains harmful programs," please take a screen shot and send it to the site in question so they understand they have been targeted.

If you think an article from an Independent Media website is important, share it via email, in comment sections, and for those that have social media, share there as well. More readers brings in more ad revenue, and possibly more donations.

If you see any other methods being used to block conservative-leaning websites, or to scare users away, bring it to their attention immediately, because we cannot fight an information war if we do not know what weapons are being used against us.
