Upping The Fear Factor To Regain Control And Compliance Of The Populace - From Pandemic To Tripledemic And Now 'Syndemic', The Powers That Be Want Your Obedience
After the Covid-19 disaster, with tyrannical state leaders grabbing power like mad, deeming what businesses were "essential" and which ones were "non-essential," putting people out of jobs, closing schools, forcing people to mask up, social distance and in some cases making it illegal to visit family, neighbors and friends, ultimately causing food shortages and a mess of an economy, many Americans decided "no more."
The rallying cry became "Do not comply."
Jump forward to today, with 2024 right around the corner, and a mere warning of an upcoming "pandemic" or "disease X" isn't terrifying Americans still in the "do not comply" mindset as much as the power-hungry politicians would like, so the powers-that-be need something scarier to use to control the masses.
In 2022, they tried the term "tripledemic," but it didn't strike fear into the hearts of the populace to the point of the same compliance seen in 2020 and 2021.
Via a CDC PDF: ...The 2022-2023 cold and flu season resulted in notable increases and early seasonal peaks for influenza and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) cases throughout the United States.1,2,3 This trifecta of surging respiratory illnesses has been described as a “tripledemic” by some health experts and media outlets.....
That worked on some, mostly liberals and the medically paranoid (same thing), but didn't bring the majority of Americans to the level of panic and obedience seen in 2020 and 2021. Note: Apparently that is what happens when state leaders abuse their power and overreach, people stop paying attention to them.
This is unacceptable to those that got off on the power trip of tyranny, so now we are seeing the new game plan to scare people into compliance.
"Forget the ‘tripledemic.’ The U.S. is headed for a ‘syndemic’ this winter—and experts warn we’re not prepared," is a recent Fortune headline.
Raj Rajnarayanan, assistant dean of research and associate professor at the New York Institute of Technology campus in Jonesboro, Ark., told Fortune that the U.S. is a “sitting duck” in the face of a “syndemic” winter.
It’s a term he prefers to “tripledemic,” as it acknowledges the impact of more than three pathogens on the healthcare system, and the need for policies to address the phenomenon, in addition to medical interventions.
“Strained hospital capacities, workforce exhaustion, burnout, a lack of effective therapeutic tools, poor communication, a lack of compliance [with COVID precautions], a lack of continuity planning, and the pervasive influence of social determinants of health” only make the nation’s delicate health infrastructure more fragile, he said.
Here we go again.
Another point to be made before moving forward is much of the panic could have been avoided, because some of the severity of Covid illness was due to an allergic reaction due to spike proteins, according to Dr. Shankara Chetty.
Independent Media readers won't panic, and will go on with their lives without allowing the MSM, CDC, or dictatorial state leaders to freak them out, nor will they comply with unreasonable demands as some did in 2020.
Then again, it was not Independent Media readers and preppers that caused shortages from panic shopping when Covid-19 was first introduced. Which means the same people, if panicked enough, will cause the same issues.

THE GULLIBLE WILL PANIC AGAIN....
To this day we still see people in masks, around here those are tourists, as well as observing users online trying to guilt folks into wearing masks again, claiming we are endangering them, in 2023.
• Lorenz described the situation—unmasked passengers at an airport in 2023—as "so dangerous" and "so insane." She accused a TSA agent of behaving with "abject cruelty" for telling "a woman" that she shouldn't be flying if she was "so scared" about removing her mask for several seconds at a security checkpoint.
• Nevertheless, she managed to survive. "I tried to just hold my breath but I had to breathe a couple times [spiral eyes emoji]," Lorenz confessed.
For the record, Lorenz is a Washington Post reporter.
Lorenz, who recently joined the Washington Post from The New York Times, said, "Seeing everyone indoors totally unmasked and crowded together at panels, events, and parties at [SXSW] makes me sad, when will things be safe for those who are high risk and vulnerable to participate in events and conferences and events?"
Disclaimer: We understand an elderly sick person wanting to mask up in public, or even a young person that is sick and lacks immunity, but to mask is one thing, to insist others do the same because you are sickly or paranoid, are two vastly different things.
There are many like Lorenz in America, and by pushing this new "syndemic" narrative, the media is trying to create conditions like they were in 2020 and 2021, where people start panicking, emptying store shelves of cleaning supplies, toilet paper, paper goods and other products that saw shortages in 2020 and 2021.
Shortages included, but were not limited to; Cleaning wipes, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, hand sanitizers, bleach, foods like chicken, bacon, hot dogs, cheese, coffee, olive oils, and other items such as lumber, computer chips, chlorine, and oxygen.
Face masks, and gloves, along with cleaning supplies, were so low in supply, that even Amazon had "currently unavailable" notes on many product pages.
As an aside, while we never encouraged compliance with overreaching, wannabe dictators, we did recommend having masks and gloves on hand, in case they were needed for something. One reader back in 2020 used face masks for work, yet couldn't find any because of the increased demand and panic shoppers wiping out the inventory.
Having them on hand in case they are needed, isn't compliance, it is just part of being prepared.
If the media continues to push this "syndemic" narrative, there is a good chance the gullible will once again fall for it, and we will run the risk of massive shortages again.
BOTTOM LINE
While the "tripledemic" did not cause the panic and chaos in 2022 that the Covid-19 did in 2020 and 2021, we have no way of knowing if this so-called "syndemic" will, or if whatever they follow that with will.
It is almost as if the powers-that-be are looking for something to regain the control they managed to get in 2020 and 2021, before the 2024 Presidential election which allowed them to bypass election laws in the name of a "pandemic."
In the meantime, if they manage to terrify the half of the populace that still believe the MSM and the CDC, despite everything they got wrong in 2020-2021, we'll want to be prepared for the craziness, chaos and shortages we saw back then, as to not get caught flatfooted again.
We are sticking to the items that saw fast and massive shortages in 2020, for specific preparation.
Readers are encouraged to share anything they remember seeing shortages of that I missed, in the comment section.
The videos below are flashbacks from 2020, from literal physical fights over toilet paper, to panic shopping, to hours-long lines.
