On Wednesday, January 6, 2021, Americans marched to the U.S. Capitol and took over the building as Congress was trying to complete the process of certifying the electoral votes from the 2020 election.
Images ranged from random groups walking through the halls of congress to a guy kicked back on Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi's chair, to rowdy Americans tired of being ignored about their concerns over election irregularities.
As a quick aside, in many images we could see Antifa members, backpack, mask, etc.... just wearing what they thought of as normal "MAGA" clothing.
So, we stipulate that some were MAGA supporters and others were not, but wanted to cause problems in the name of MAGA supporters.
One last note before moving along: One female MAGA supporter died after being shot by law enforcement while unarmed.
Now lets discuss what we didn't see:
• We didn't see cars being burned in the middle of streets.
• We didn't see buildings being burned to the ground.
• We didn't see nearby stores looted while leaving utter devastation behind.
• We didn't see random bystanders being attacked by protesters.
• Another thing we didn't see was the random destruction of "protesters" tearing down statues. They instead were busy taking selfies with said statues, as seen below.
In other words we didn't see the very actions observed and reported on by Independent Media, when Antifa groups and some BLM protests, become violent and riot.
Yet the media's terminology in reporting Wednesday's protests is over-the-top in comparison to the defensive headlining and reporting by Antifa supporting media outlets, when Antifa is burning down cities.
Search pages are full of that type of language regarding Wednesday's protest, while they tried to justify actual "assaults" by Antifa groups during the past four years., by calling them "mostly peaceful."
What we saw was Americans demanding to be heard by Congress. The same Congress that is supposed to "represent" those very Americans that took over the building.
In fact, come to think of it, as Americans, doesn't the Capitol building, actually belong to us?
I'll be honest, after witnessing the sheer corruption, the attacks by congressional members against conservatives for the past four years, and the Russian collusion hoax, it was a smirkable (yes, that is a made up word) moment seeing Congressional members cower behind closed doors, with some even wearing gas masks.
Hopefully this experience gave them a firsthand look at what it is like to feel terror, just as Portland, Oregon residents and Americans all over the nation feel every time Antifa comes to town to riot.
One last note about Wednesday's protest: The most significant difference between the protest at the capitol (I won't say invasion nor assault because the capitol belongs to WE THE PEOPLE therefore had every right to protest there), is that the capitol is still standing, the statues are still standing, the building and offices weren't burned down, and no member of Congress was injured.
As I pointed out earlier, one unarmed MAGA supporter was shot, and later died.
ANTIFA MISSING FROM PREDICTED TERRORISM TRENDS FOR 2021
On January 5, 2021, Homeland Security Today.us (not part of the U.S. government) issued their "5 Terrorism Trends to Watch in 2021."
Those trends include "conspiracy theory extremism," Violence against faith-based institutions, Complex coordinated attacks, ISIS and al-Qaeda moving forward, and Domestic extremism.
What caught my eye was the description under that last category, Domestic extremism.
They call out Anti-Semitic, white supremacists, Neo-Nazis, Boogaloo Bois, and compare White Supremacists to Islamic extremists, using the recruitment methods as their reasoning.
What is mentioned nowhere in that piece, and I did an actual search for the word, is Antifa.
Nowhere in that very lengthy piece is Antifa referenced at all, anywhere.
As Independent Media readers know, we have documented Antifa violence, attacks against men, women and children, their vandalism, burning cars and buildings, terrorizing entire cities (Portland, Oregon,) and generally inciting a riot at every protest they are involved in.
Yet Antifa groups are not one of the terrorism trends to watch, and aren't even mentioned under "domestic extremism?"
What's up with that?
2021 WILL BE AN ALL-OUT ATTACK AGAINST CONSERVATIVES
The only things that was standing in the way of declaring white Christians of being domestic terrorists under the guise of labeling them "white supremacists," was Donald Trump, and at least one house of Congress controlled by Republicans.
For the next two years at least, the attacks against conservatives, white Christian males, Independent Media (which will be labeled as "conspiracy theory extremism), will make living under the Obama years seem like a walk in the park.
That is my prediction: 2021 will be an all out attack against conservatives.
Buckle up people, this is going to be a bumpy ride.
