According to this new story over at the Daily Beast which the Drudge Report linked to on Sunday evening, the Atlanta airport power outages on Sunday sent a loud and very clear message to terrorists who might seek to do Americans harm: America is unprepared.
With an alleged 'single-point failure' leading to thousands of trapped and stranded passengers and numerous videos released featuring very creepy scenes of what a prolonged blackout looks like when you're surrounded by thousands of other people as seen in the 1st and 2nd videos below, their story reports"It’s what phase one of an attack could look like". Also adding "If a terrorist wanted to find the most vulnerable point in America’s airport network they could not have hoped for a better guide than what just happened at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson."
And while the power eventually returned, leaving thousands of flights around the world delayed in the 'ripple effect' that spread across the world in this week preceeding Christmas, what happened Sunday in Atlanta was absolute confirmation of an often-repeated Steve Quayle warning: "You don't want to be where everyone else is when SHTF". As vending machines and restaurants within the airport shut down and food became extremely difficult to get (save for Chick Fil A to step in and save the day for some!), not only were thousands stranded in darkness but highly irritated and hungry.
With hotel rooms across the region filling up to capacity and the Atlanta Convention center quickly turned into a makeshift FEMA Camp to house some of those who had been stranded, reports that an underground fire caused the total blackout ring hollow to some with warnings that what happened in Atlanta may have been a 'test run' for something much, much bigger as is discussed by two different videographers in the final two videos below.
The previously mentioned Daily Beast story brings up some absolutely crucial subjects which we've addressed numerous times on ANP and are happy to see being brought to light in this story which is getting mass attention due to its Drudge Report link. The excerpt republished below from their story ring out loud and true in December of 2017.
This excerpt also shows us how quickly things can spiral completely out of control with severed communications, nobody really had an idea what was happening except for there was no power. The scenario described below is a very real possibility.
For many hours nobody in authority attempted to explain—or even seemed able to explain—what had happened.
Just imagine this is a classic plan for phase one of a terrorist attack: Render the target blind. None of the defenses are operational. Thousands of people are trapped in restricted space without directions about how they can find an exit.
As chaos spreads nobody knows who turn to for information. The communications blackout is as complete as the power blackout.
Given this situation a small band of suicide bombers could roam freely and commit mayhem and massacre on an unprecedented scale.
Normally around 275,000 passengers, equal to the population of a small city, pass through Atlanta’s airport every day. From the moment when this disaster hit that flow continued without restraint, with the terminals quickly becoming jammed.
Nobody in the airport management stepped up to stop that happening. This is not the first time that this airport has been hit by a power failure that caused chaos.
This time the problem does appear to have originated with Georgia Power. They said a fire in an underground plant providing power to the substations at the airport caused “extensive damage” to the facility. Such outages, they said, “were very rare.”
But of course this does not explain the glaring problem that has surprised and shocked national security experts: Why could a failure at one power source automatically knock out the supply to a whole airport? Why were there no backup systems to keep the essential services at the airport functioning? Why were there no emergency generators ready to cut in as they are, for example, at hospitals? Why was there no power for the most basic systems, not even lighting for the terminals, leaving passengers and airport staff in the dark at gates and security checkpoints?
The Atlanta chaos is yet another red flag indicating that our airports are far from ready to deal with a terrorist threat.
While those who haven't been paying attention over the years will surely claim that 'false flags' are 'fake news', this November 23rd story from Newsweek titled "U.S. GOVERNMENT PLANNED FALSE FLAG ATTACKS TO START WAR WITH SOVIET UNION, JFK DOCUMENTS SHOW" should prove to them otherwise.
And while ANP has been roundly criticized for suggesting that 'enemies of America within' would ever attempt to harm our country, as we see in this new story over at the Daily Mail which Steve Quayle had linked to on his website this morning, "The Obama administration 'SABOTAGED a DEA operation to stop Hezbollah smuggling drugs into the US and helped the militant group grow into a global threat so the Iran nuke deal would go ahead'".
More hints of exactly WHO those 'enemies of America within' consist of? What else might they do?
Back on December 7th, the US News and World Report ran a story titled"Atlanta Airport Fire? No, Just Smoke From A Drill" in which they reported such 'open fire drills' are run at the Atlanta airport numerous times every year. While smoke from that fire caused alarm across the Atlanta area as thick black smoke filled the skies, we remind you of just how many 'drills' have turned into 'real events'.
According to Doug Casey in this recent story republished over at Zero Hedge as also detailed in the 3rd video below, should 'another 9/11' happen in America, our once free nation could nearly immediately become a 'police state' with all of the infrastructure having been built up over the past several decades, Americans are like a frog in a pot of boiling water.
Warning within his story that America is quickly approaching the 'point of no return', we're told that most Germans living in Germany in the 1930's had no clue about what their country was about to be turned into, either.:
A major tipping point occurred sixteen years ago, on September 11, 2001, with the attacks in New York and Washington. They were disastrous. But not nearly as disastrous as the government’s reaction to them.
Among them the creation of the Department of Homeland Security. Anybody that speaks German knows that a reasonable translation of Homeland Security is Geheime Staatspolizei, which is usually abbreviated to Gestapo. Anybody that goes through airline security these days should ask themselves, “Where the hell did they find these people? Didn’t they have jobs before they went to work for this moronic agency?” The answer is that there are people out there who like wearing costumes, are willing to boss, herd, interrogate, and go through the dirty laundry of their fellow citizens. They take their jobs seriously and you better not even look at them sideways. There’s no reason to believe it’s going to get better as they groove into their jobs, and their employer cements itself into place. More likely the trend will accelerate.
Is America currently a police state? Well, let’s see. You can still get in your car and go anywhere, although you might be stopped by the police and you might be detained if your papers aren’t in order. Or the officer thinks you’re not properly respectful. Or you have “too much” cash.
Was there any particular day that Germany became a police state in the 1930s? I’m not sure you can put your finger on any one particular day, even after Hitler was legally and democratically elected. It was a progression, with new laws, new regulations, new taxes every day. While more fear and hysteria were worked up among the populace. Kristallnacht didn’t occur the day after the National Socialists took power.
While quite fortunately, what happened at one of the world's busiest airports in Atlanta Sunday only resulted in thousands of canceled flights and delayed travelers and what many have called 'pandemonium', should the Atlanta airport blackout have been some kind of a 'test run' as our videographers suggest, we could soon witness the next 9/11 on US soil.
And as Casey elaborates, the 'next 9/11' could be the 'last 9/11' for freedom here in America with the water in the kettle long ago set to boil on low heat, most of the 'frogs' in the water are ready to be cooked without even knowing it.
It’s a case of the frog being put in a kettle of water where the temperature is gradually raised to a boil. That’s what’s occurring in the US. After 9/11, in addition to Homeland Security, we got the Patriot Act, with, among other things, its suspension of habeas corpus. That means that the government can lock anybody up for any reason and not even have to tell them why. Accuse them of being an “enemy combatant”—a neologism that justifies anything, and is robotically and thoughtlessly accepted by Boobus americanus—and anything is possible. Including a trip to a CIA black site in some Third World hellhole. This is something I thought was settled in Western Civilization with the Magna Carta and King John. But we’re going backwards in most areas of personal freedom. And America, of all places, is leading the way—even while falling behind economically.
I don’t know if I can put my finger on exactly when we’re going to go over the edge, but if I was going to guess I would think the real catalyst is going to be the next 9/11-type event. And I don’t doubt it’s going to happen.
How are we any different than the Germans in the 1930s? This was one of the most civilized, best educated countries in Europe and they fell into the abyss. I suppose we’re a bit different. Americans are addicted to welfare, anti-depressant drugs, food, and electronic devices. That should certainly give us a better outcome… And while at this moment it appears that what happened Sunday in Atlanta and today in Tacoma, Washington are completely unrelated and in no way connected to terrorism, we see in these events at the very least 'red flags' of the crumbling infrastructure here in America and blunt warning signs that, should SHTF, the very last place we want to be is around 1000's of other people.
