'Based on the totality of available data an electromagnetic spectrum attack may be a threat to the United States, Democracy and world order,' the 2018 report says.
As we had also reported back on May 12th on ANP, according to testimony given before US Congress, Iran has long had 'sleeper agents' living here in the US, operating unfettered, and largely avoiding the microscope of any intelligence or law enforcement agencies. Hibernating, prepared and positioned to attack America from within, as this Washington Free Beacon story had pointed out back in April of 2018, these 'sleeper cells' are even more prepared and organized than ISIS or al-Qaeda.
And with these cells here for possibly 20 years or more, blending into American communities as if they were loyal to the US above anybody else, the Free Beacon story warned these 'sleeper cells' long here could immediately be put into play should war between the US and Iran break out.
Iranian-backed militants are operating across the United States mostly unfettered, raising concerns in Congress and among regional experts that these "sleeper cell" agents are poised to launch a large-scale attack on the American homeland, according to testimony before lawmakers.
Iranian agents tied to the terror group Hezbollah have already been discovered in the United States plotting attacks, giving rise to fears that Tehran could order a strike inside America should tensions between the Trump administration and Islamic Republic reach a boiling point.
Intelligence officials and former White House officials confirmed to Congress on Tuesday that such an attack is not only plausible, but relatively easy for Iran to carry out at a time when the Trump administration is considering abandoning the landmark nuclear deal and reapplying sanctions on Tehran.
There is mounting evidence that Iran poses "a direct threat to the homeland," according to Rep. Peter King (R., N.Y.), a member of the House Homeland Security Committee and chair of its subcommittee on counterterrorism and intelligence.
A chief concern is "Iranian support for Hezbollah, which is active in the Middle East, Latin America, and here in the U.S., where Hezbollah operatives have been arrested for activities conducted in our own country," King said, referring the recent arrest of two individuals plotting terror attacks in New York City and Michigan.
"Both individuals received significant weapons training from Hezbollah," King said. "It is clear Hezbollah has the will and capability."
After more than a decade of receiving intelligence briefs, King said he has concluded that "Hezbollah is probably the most experienced and professional terrorist organization in the world," even more so than ISIS and Al Qaeda.
Asked if Iran could use Hezbollah to conduct strikes on the United States, a panel of experts including intelligence officials and former White House insiders responded in the affirmative.
"They are as good or better at explosive devices than ISIS, they are better at assassinations and developing assassination cells," said Michael Pregent, a former intelligence officer who worked to counter Iranian influence in the region. "They're better at targeting, better at looking at things," and they can outsource attacks to Hezbollah.
According to recent statements made by the head of Iran's Revolutionary Guards, Major General Hossein Salami, Iran is currently in a "full intelligence war" against the United States, warning that Americans in the region face great risks while bringing up the 9/11 attacks upon Ameria as how quickly America could fall. Claiming that one strategic blow could bring America crashing down like the Twin Towers in seconds, we pray that President Trump continues to clamp down upon the hawks within his own administration pushing for war with Iran with all of the signs such a war would be disastrous.
“We are in a full intelligence war with the United States and the enemies of the Islamic Republic. This war is a combination of psychological warfare, cyber operations, military operations, diplomacy, fear, and intimidation,” Salami, who became head of Iran's elite military force last month, was quoted as saying by Fars news agency. He further noted Americans in the region face "great risks" at this point. “America has lost its power, and even though they look powerful, they are frail,” he said.
But what's most likely to capture the West's attention is his invoking the 9/11 terror attacks: “In reality America’s story is the same as the story of the World Trade Center that collapsed suddenly with one strike,” he said, using the example both as a threat and to claim the mighty US empire can be brought to its knees with one strategic blow.
His combative statements came days after he said provocatively that the IRGC stood on the “cusp of a full-scale confrontation with the enemy.” In that prior address , Salami notified his forces, "This moment in history, because the enemy has stepped into the field of confrontation with us with all the possible capacity, is the most decisive moment of the Islamic revolution," according to Fars.
Yet with Iran's claim that they could bring our nation crashing down with one strategic blow hinting that they have either: A) Already developed a nuclear weapon and could launch an electro-magnetic pulse attack against us that brings down the grid and wipes out 90% of us or more in the following year to 18 months or B) Developed a biological weapon that, if unleashed here, could bring America to a total standstill; it's clear the choices facing POTUS are limited. And a wrong decision that left America under a massive biological weapons attack or without an electrical grid for a year or more would quickly usher in the globalists end game for a mostly unprepared and unaware America.
Rabbi Winston has discovered that an 800-year-old collection of Biblical texts, titled Yalkut Shimoni, about a conflict that could “destroy the entire world” is similar to the ongoing standoff between Iran on the one side, and the US, Israel, and Saudi Arabia on the other.
