It is incredibly ironic that the mainstream media, liberals and Democrats across the board are bemoaning so called "Fake News," and demanding action be taken while at the same time they are manufacturing "fake" scandals daily.
While social justice warriors are busy taking to the streets, alongside of paid protesters, to protest the results of the presidential election, the mainstream media and liberal pundits are using their keyboards to "protest" by creating absurd headlines about President-Elect Trump's every move, reporting breathlessly on every non-event as if it were the crime of the century.
For example we see that the President Elect decided to attend a family dinner and *GASP* didn't tell the press he was going, or invite them along. Suddenly news outlet after news outlet are screeching about a lack of "transparency."
ABC News, NBC News, CBS News, PBS, People Magazine, Washington Post, New York Times and a number of local affiliates to the major television news outlets, plus a whole host of others, all thought that going to a family dinner without notifying the press was something worthy of headlines with stories critical of Trump for daring to not follow along with what other previous president-elects have done.
In fact Huffington Post Senior Politics Editor, Sam Stein, declared on Twitter that ditching the press to to grab a steak dinner was a "terrible violation of protocol."
Protocol via Merriam Webster: a system of rules that explain the correct conduct and procedures to be followed in formal situations.
Correct for who? Who wrote the procedures? Please "inform" us all where they are written and when they were made law, please Mr. Stein, because if you cannot, then you are right, Trump defenders will cheer every single time he shows you the contempt you showed him and his supporters since day one.
MSNBC's Rachel Maddow actually dedicated three minutes and 39 seconds to this non-event, calling it "really, really important," before admitting at around the three minute mark that there is "no law that says a president or president-elect has to allow a press pool represenative to follow their movements, but it is tradition."
Did the last year and a half not teach these little cupcakes anything at all? Trump is not politically correct, probably doesn't care about what others have or have not done, and is going to do what he wants, when he wants and as long as he isn't breaking the law or violating the constitution, who really cares other than the MSM that thinks they have the right to make demands after they bashed Trump and his supporters since the day he announced he was running for President, and those that still think the MSM are still relevant?
What other "fake" scandals are the mainstream media howling about? President-Elect Donald Trump has announced he won't be accepting the $400,000 presidential salary and if forced to take something he would accept $1.
More on this "fake news" scandal from Mark Dice below.
Moving right along we note that Donald Trump, who has not moved into the White House yet, has been using Trump Tower for meetings with his transitional team, where politicians and businessmen have been seen coming and going as he puts his upcoming administration together, yet to the New York Times, the headline reads "With Trump Using Tower as Base, Fifth Avenue Grinds to a Halt." This bit of "news" wasn't listed as local news, explaining to those affected why streets were clogged, it was listed under "Election 2016," news, showing center top on their home page this afternoon.
Washington Post takes it a step further and decides that since President-Elect Trump has stopped providing controversial statements as fodder as he was famous for when he was the GOP Nominee before the election, they would start reporting on controversial comments one of his supporters made, creating a "fake" scandal by "informing" their readers he is a "Trump Surrogate." The man is Carl Higbie and he is a spokesman for pro-Trump Great America PAC, with absolutely no connection to the Trump campaign and he told Megyn Kelly that Japanese American internment is a precedent for creating a Muslim registry.
Surrogate: a person appointed to act for another; deputy.
The irony of the very same MSM that are howling about "fake news" while at the same time manufacturing fake scandals would actually be amusing if it wasn't so pathetically sad.
There will no doubt be plenty to criticize Trump for after he is sworn in as the 45th President of the United States because of the very reason so many supported him... he is not a politician, therefore he will make political blunders, and frankly decisions that many of us will be calling him out on, but the continued "crying wolf" on the part of the liberal media basically throwing a temper tantrum using their keyboards, because they did not get their way to get Hillary Clinton elected, will undermine every real, future criticism and scandal because no one is going to believe them by that point.
Watch the video below of the reactions by the media when Trump won the presidential election and remember, these are the people that are "reporting" these manufactured scandals about Trump right now.
