While most Americans look out at 2021 America and see a rapidly unfolding disaster, and our claim being backed by Joe Biden's disastrous approval rating of what would have been an 'F' score before the arrival of common core brought with it a dumbing down of America on every level, Hillary Clinton just claimed "'ordinary Americans' don't understand Joe Biden's 'extraordinary accomplishments'". 

Just Hillary's latest attack upon us 'ordinary Americans' who she 'viral-ized' as a 'basket of deplorables' back in 2016 in the lead up to the election she got stomped in, a look at a few of the top-voted comments on that Daily Mail story, in which she took a shot at 100's of millions of us 'ordinary Americans,' laid Hillary out on the floor as if she'd just taken a shot from Joe Louis in his prime.:

Capt. America, Everywhere: Oh look, once again they tell us we're too dumb to understand what they do.

OneNine, Tempe, United States: I'm not a religious man but I know Evil when I see it and this woman sold her soul to the devil long ago.

Okey-dokey, Denver, United States: No we don't. But we do understand his colossal screw ups. 

JunSandojo, NWH, United States: She's probably part of its engineering. She's the most evil and patronizing woman in politics, followed closely by Pelosi.

With all of the top-voted comments on that story lashing Hillary as if she was 'the beast of hell' of US politics 'itself', we'd argue that anybody arguing 'for' tyranny in 2021 WANTS tyranny in 2022. And as we'll explore within the rest of this story, according to a story just published by Reason based upon a report just published by International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance, a global nonprofit based in Sweden, "COVID-19 Has Made Democracies More Authoritarian and Authoritarian Regimes Even Worse". You say? The independent news has been reporting on that for nearly 2 years now. 

With that study warning that "many democracies' have taken steps that are 'disproportionate, unnecessary, or illegal' to curb COVID," as we'll also explore more here, Wikipedia is now taking a step that we'd argue is full-scale Orwellian memory-holing and totalitarian to the core, preparing to delete their page titled 'mass killings under Communist regimes.' Claiming the page, which details all of the mass murders that Communist governments have carried out, as 'disputed', why now are communist murder sprees being 'memory-holed'? Wikipedia's comments on the mass murder sprees of Commie governments, seen partially in the image above, as also seen in the image below from that page.:

We'd strongly argue that the moves being made towards totalitarianism as warned of in this 'IIDEA' study not only here in America but in other Western nations as well are totally tied to Wikipedia's attempt to 'memory hole' the murder sprees of Communist regimes of the past and present, hinting an attempt by the globalists to cover up such future murder sprees by Communist governments in the future. The COVID-19 pandemic is contributing to a significant decline in democratic values across the globe as many countries have taken aggressive and authoritarian steps to attempt to curb the virus. 

If you haven't been living under a rock for the past two years, that's probably not much of a surprise. Still, a new report from the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance, a global nonprofit based in Sweden, offers a comprehensive look at the worrying trend of democratic erosion—a trend that has been helped along by the pandemic even though its roots go deeper. 

"The world is becoming more authoritarian as non-democratic regimes become even more brazen in their repression and many democratic governments suffer from backsliding by adopting their tactics of restricting free speech and weakening the rule of law, exacerbated by what threatens to become a 'new normal' of Covid-19 restrictions," the IIDEA warns. The number of countries that are becoming "more authoritarian" by the group's calculus is three times the number of countries that are moving toward democracy. This year is the fifth consecutive year in which the trend has been moving in that direction, the longest uninterrupted stretch of pro-authoritarian developments since the IIDEA started tracking these metrics in 1975. 

That trend predates the COVID-19 pandemic, of course, but governmental responses to the virus have made things worse. 

A number of democratic countries—the report specifically mentions the United States in this section—have implemented COVID measures "that were disproportionate, illegal, indefinite or unconnected to the nature of the emergency," according to the IIDEA report. Those include travel restrictions and the use of "emergency powers that sometimes sidelined parliaments." 

More proof that we've been witnessing a move towards authoritarian governments all along, if you think that it's just countries overseas that are now seeing this trend, you are one of those who've been hiding under a rock for nearly the last several years. And as that study and the Reason story point out, there is clearly something much more devious behind everything now unfolding with COVID.

With the globalists and the mainstream media wasting no time at all pushing the latest 'doomsday variant' of COVID emerging out of South Africa, the dreaded B.1.1.529 that is allegedly evading the human immune system and 'the vaxxes' and has allegedly undergone 'a horrific 32 mutations', as the top-voted comment on this Daily Mail story reporting upon this latest globalist boogey man pointed out: "Over 98 percent plus survive Covid, how much longer are people going to be ruled by fear?"

With another one of the top-voted comments on that story pointing out "The Pandemic ends when WE say it ends" while another pointed out of the fear-mongering story, " Fauci and Pfizer wrote this article", the globalists are still using these fear-mongering stories to crack down upon the masses. 

As this recent tweet by a police spokesman out of Australia reports, the police will be going door to door in the Pilbara region of Northwestern Australia where many Aboriginal people live, 'aggressively' confronting these people who are largely 'unjabbed' about why they need to 'take the jab'. Pushing the globalists sinister agenda upon a people who have largely rejected the 'outside world', if this is a 'medical issue', then why are the police doing these 'door to door visits', rather than doctors and nurses? 

And can you imagine that here in America? With the Biden administration already pushing a 'door to door outreach program' to 'educate' the unwilling into 'getting jabbed', how long will it be until we're witnessing here in the USA what we're seeing in other locations, with global governments making more and more moves towards what is really the same thing? Once more, from this Reason story.:

The last two years have indeed been littered with examples of previously unheard-of government powers on display in the U.S. That includes everything from statewide lockdowns in which governors decreed which businesses were "essential" to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), with the backing of both the Trump and Biden administrations, making it nearly impossible for property owners to evict deadbeat tenants. It took until this month for the U.S. to reopen its border with Canada for supposedly "nonessential" travel, even though there was probably no good justification for closing the border in the first place. 

Outside the U.S., places like Austria and Australia continue to rachet up authoritarian restrictions on public interactions and economic behavior—even for people who have been vaccinated. According to the report, 69 countries have made violating COVID restrictions an imprisonable offense, with two-thirds of those countries being ones the group considers to be democracies. Albania and Mexico have the most punitive laws on the books, allowing prison sentences of 15 years and 12 years, respectively, for violating pandemic-related protocols. 

More than 20 percent of countries have used their militaries to enforce COVID controls, which the report warns could contribute to "the normalization of increasingly militarized civil life after the pandemic." Meanwhile, 42 percent of countries have rolled out voluntary or compulsory apps used for contact tracing, which may be effective in curbing the spread of the virus but create concerning new opportunities for government surveillance in a post-pandemic world. Of particular concern to IIDEA are the eight non-democratic regimes (Azerbaijan, Bahrain, China, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Singapore, Thailand, and Turkey) where those apps have been made mandatory for all smartphone-using residents. 

Meanwhile, some public health officials in America are wishcasting for even more aggressive restrictions. Rochelle Walensky, director of the CDC, recently praised the "really strict lockdowns" deployed by China—a country that no healthy democracy should be using as a model for good policy making. 

But while COVID-19 has been the acute cause of much democratic backsliding in the past two years, the IIDEA report indicates a more insidious threat that lurks behind the pandemic: "The rise of illiberal and populist parties in the last decade is a key explanatory factor in democratic backsliding and decline," the report states. Those parties seek to obtain power so they can dismantle checks on government authority, including freedom of expression and policies meant to protect minority rights. 

Indeed, as Reason's Stephanie Slade has pointed out, some of the leading advocates of America's turn towards illiberalism are now quite open about their embrace of authoritarianism. This tendency to embrace "will-to-power" politics amounts to declaring that "what matters above all else is ensuring that our tribe is dominant." That's not a good signal for democracy, or for the preservation of human freedom.

With that story further detailing how politicians here in the US are turning all of this into a massive power grab, pushing for powers that they'd never be able to acquire under 'normal circumstances', we've long argued that the biggest difference between America and most countries in Europe and elsewhere is the 2nd Amendment, a 'power owned by the American people' that wanna-be tyrants can never take away without destroying themselves in the process, just as America's Founding Fathers intended. 

So while we'll continue to pray for and work towards peace and freedom as long as the Good Lord allows us to, we should be ready and prepared for absolutely anything and everything with all of these moves being made towards global government in lockstep towards tyranny, using the mainstream media to push their satanic agenda while continuing to 'dumb down' the masses into taking their 'deadly concoctions' out of fear.
