We are witnessing the biggest take down of globalists and the much talked about "Deep State" in history, all happening as we watch one domino after another fall.
Sean Hannity is fond of saying and tweeting, "Tick Tock" and "Boom" and perhaps that is the best analogy to date of what we have been watching over the past month as virtual bombs are exploding, one after another, in the faces of the globalists in the entertainment business, then the liberal biased media industry, then the political world, and now a few just went off in the faces of the Clintons, the FBI, traitorous John McCain, the DNC and the whole Deep State apparatus.
ONE BY ONE THEY ARE ALL BEING EXPOSED AND BROUGHT DOWN
ANP readers are already aware of the whole "Harveywood" sex scandals that has rocked an industry full of globalism supporters that for years have claimed some type of moral superiority that gives them the right to use their fame and celebrity status to attempt to control the population, telling people who they should and shouldn't vote for, what causes are just, what social justice activism we should all be participating in, etc....
Readers are also aware that the next industry that was put into the crosshairs was the liberal mainstream media with the "sh*tty media men" list (which has already received a few scalps,) so I am not going to go into detail on those, but they are worth noting because if you take a step back from the information overload that has been coming out fast and furiously this past month, those two scandals appear to have been just the beginning of a massive globalist take down.
Next up...... the deep state and these explosions are even bigger, as we see even the liberal mainstream media cannot "spin" the news, nor protect those that they have been protecting for decades.
I have seen many people wonder aloud in comment sections across the internet, "why are there still Obama holdovers in positions of power?" The short answer is because a clean sweep would have thrown the baby out with the bath water as the expression goes. In other words, there are honest, hard working people in many of the government agencies, and the bad had to be weeded out from the good.
The longer answer would be that it is not just Obama holdovers, but deep state members have been inserted into positions of power for decades by multiple administrations, and until the public elected someone from the outside, there was nobody that cared to identify them, build a case against them, and then start the process of taking the trash out.
It appears the background work is done and their time is up...... President Trump is finally ready to take them all down.
In March 2017, President Trump gave us all a bit of forewarning about what was happening and being investigated behind the scenes, when he tweeted "Why isn't the House Intelligence Committee looking into the Bill & Hillary deal that allowed big Uranium to go to Russia, Russian speech...."
Last week, BAM! The Hill exposed that the FBI uncovered Russian bribery plot before Obama administration approved controversial nuclear deal with Moscow, as well as reporting that "Russian nuclear officials had routed millions of dollars to the U.S. designed to benefit former President Bill Clinton’s charitable foundation during the time Secretary of State Hillary Clinton served on a government body that provided a favorable decision to Moscow." The Hill also highlighted some key players in that investigation, aka part of the deep state, namely then-U.S. Attorney Rod Rosenstein, an Obama appointee who now serves as President Trump’s deputy attorney general, and then-Assistant FBI Director Andrew McCabe, now the deputy FBI director under Trump, former FBI Director Robert Mueller, now the special counsel in the Russia collusion investigation, and FBI Director James Comey.
Two days after that report, while the MSM was still attempting to ignore, distract or spin what was revealed, President Trump once again gave us a hint of the next bomb that was going to drop, when he tweeted "Workers of firm involved with the discredited and Fake Dossier take the 5th. Who paid for it, Russia, the FBI or the Dems (or all)?"
That apparently set off CNN Editor-at-large, Chris Cillizza, who highlighted the president's tweet, then went on to call it a "conspiracy theory with only the loosest ties to the factual world," on October 19th, the same day.
But even by Trump standards, this morning's tweet is somewhat remarkable. He is suggesting that a dossier prepared by a former member of British intelligence has not only been totally discredited (it hasn't -- more on that in a minute) but that it might have been funded by some combination of Russia, the Democratic Party and, wait for it, the FBI!
Cillizza also wrote "The bigger issue -- at least to me -- is that Trump is suggesting that the dossier itself was funded by some combination of a foreign power, the opposition political party and a federal law enforcement agency."
Then the condescending little p***k decided to offer his version of "facts" before concluding "there is no plausible scenario by which what Trump suggested this morning -- a wide-scale conspiracy involving three separate actors across federal agencies and continents -- actually happened. That we can't (won't?) agree on that seemingly obvious fact is troubling." (Archived version of that CNN report in case Cillizza decides to try to change it)
I would refer Chris to the following points:
Point 1: On March 2, 2017, CNN writer Evan Perez headlined a piece with "FBI reimbursed some expenses of dossier author, which began with "The FBI reimbursed some expenses of the former British intelligence operative who produced a dossier containing allegations of President Donald Trump's ties to Russia, people familiar with the matter said."
Point 2: Jump forward to October 24, 2017, when Washington Post (Archived link here), in a rare moment of honesty, reported the following:
The Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee helped fund research that resulted in a now-famous dossier containing allegations about President Trump’s connections to Russia and possible coordination between his campaign and the Kremlin, people familiar with the matter said.
Marc E. Elias, a lawyer representing the Clinton campaign and the DNC, retained Fusion GPS, a Washington firm, to conduct the research.
After that, Fusion GPS hired dossier author Christopher Steele, a former British intelligence officer with ties to the FBI and the U.S. intelligence community, according to those people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity.
Democratic political opponents of Donald Trump financed a British former spook who spread money among contacts in Russia, who in turn over drinks solicited stories from their supposedly “connected” sources in Moscow. If these people were really connected in any meaningful sense, then they made sure the stories they spun were consistent with the interests of the regime, if not actually scripted by the regime.
The resulting Trump dossier then became a factor in Obama administration decisions to launch an FBI counterintelligence investigation of the Trump campaign, and after the election to trumpet suspicions of Trump collusion with Russia.
We know of a second, possibly even more consequential way the FBI was effectively a vehicle for Russian meddling in U.S. politics. Authoritative news reports say FBI chief James Comey’s intervention in the Hillary Clinton email matter was prompted by a Russian intelligence document that his colleagues suspected was a Russian plant.
The point here is that once again President Trump basically told us what the next bombshell was going to be, letting the media mock and criticize him, knowing the whole time who was behind the information in, and more importantly, who helped fund the "Dossier" that former FBI Director James Comey once called "salacious and unverified."
When is the MSM going to learn that while the Trump administration and those working to help him implement his agenda are investigating, and exposing, members of the deep state, he is also continues to feed the media enough rope to hang themselves with, and even further erode any credibility they may still have left with a dwindling segment of the population?
Not only are the Clintons, the FBI, Mueller, Rosenstein, McCabe, Comey and the DNC now involved in massive scandals, but remember, other globalists, such as Senator John McCain, is also involved as it was previously reported he was the one that handed the "Dossier" to the FBI, in order to meddle in the election.
Team Trump and certain members of congress that do not appear to be corrupt, aren't finished yet, as Byron York reports "Republican investigators had two big questions about the dossier. One was who paid for it, and that now seems answered. The other was: Did the FBI or other agencies use any information from the dossier as a basis for warrant requests before the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court? In other words, did, say, the FBI use the dossier's "salacious and unverified" information to make the case that the bureau should be granted the authority to conduct intercepts?
Nunes, as well as Grassley and Senate Judiciary Committee colleague Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., have been pushing for months for the FBI to answer that question. So far, they've gotten nothing."
BOTTOM LINE
While no one knows if any of the congressional or DOJ investigations into these matters, and others which are still ongoing, will be able to yield actionable results by way of prosecutions, stepping back from each individual story we have seen over the last month and looking at them collectively, we see that the time has come and one by one, globalists and the shadowy deep state members within the government, are being publicly exposed, while the liberal media are being forced to report on these scandals or risk proving that they are nothing more than the deep state propaganda arm.
