Judgement Against Alex Jones Is A Threat Against Independent Media Outlets That Dare Question The 'Official Narrative' - Whether One Agrees With Jones Or Not, We Must Speak Out Against This Travesty Of Justice

By Susan Duclos -  All News Pipeline

I was once told by a social media user than when ANP used the term "False flag," in a headline, they couldn't get their followers to share it because they would tell her "no, it wasn't a hoax," proving that some Americans do not know the difference between a false flag and a hoax.

While regular ANP readers know the difference, we do still get new readers, so let us begin with those two definitions.

Hoax is defined as "something intended to deceive or defraud."

False Flag is defined as "a hostile or harmful action (such as an attack) that is designed to look like it was perpetrated by someone other than the person or group responsible for it."

So a hoax never truly happened and a false flag did happen, but was deliberately perpetuated in order to blame someone that did not commit the act.

Examples of documented false flags include the German invasion of Poland, 1939 where German SS soldiers pretending to be Polish stormed the Gleiwitz radio tower on the German side of the border with Poland. They broadcast a short message to say the station was now in Polish hands.

Another example was the Gulf of Tonkin incident, 1964 where "On 2 August 1964, a sea battle occurred between a US destroyer and North Vietnamese torpedo boats in the Gulf of Tonkin, off the Vietnamese coast, and then the US National Security Agency claimed that two days later another similar battle occurred. (Source)

Declassified documents released in 2005 suggest the North Vietnamese navy was not attacking the US ship but trying to salvage two of the boats damaged on 2 August.

However, President Lyndon B. Johnson and staff decided to believe the initial version of events and presented the incidents to Congress as two unprovoked attacks on US forces by North Vietnam.

It led to the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution, which allowed President Johnson to start bombing raids on North Vietnam and greatly escalate US military involvement in the Vietnam War.

One more before moving on. This next one was a proposed false flag dubbed Operation Northwoods.

Operation Northwoods was a proposed false flag operation that originated within the US Department of Defense of the United States government in 1962. The proposals called for CIA operatives to both stage and commit acts of terrorism against American military and civilian targets, blame them on the Cuban government, and would be used to justify a war against Cuba. Now that is all out of the way, Alex Jones has been persecuted by the courts for calling Sandy Hook a hoax.

“I said, ‘They are going to come after our guns, look for mass shootings,’” Jones said on his program. “And then magically, it happens.”

The official story is that the Elementary School shooting was a mass shooting that occurred on December 14, 2012, in Newtown, Connecticut, United States, when 20-year-old Adam Lanza shot and killed 26 people. Twenty of the victims were children between six and seven years old, and the other six were adult staff members.

Alex Jones called it a hoax, some others thought it was a false flag in order to enact gun control, and others believed it was a legitimate mass shooting.

It doesn't really matter what I think, or what you dear readers think, the fact is everyone had their opinions, and Alex Jones stated his on his show. Just as we state our opinions, and our take on current news of the day.

Free speech, right?

Not in Alex Jones' case though, because families of the victims, whether one believes the official story, or that Sandy Hook was a false flag, were offended, and sued Alex Jones for defamation.

Juries in Austin and Waterbury, Conn., awarded the families of Sandy Hook victims a total of $1.5 billion in damages for defamation.

Below we jump forward to present day.

Now a judge has ordered the liquidation of Alex Jones personal assets to pay the families that sued him.

A federal judge on Friday ordered the liquidation of conspiracy theorist Alex Jones′ personal assets, but also dismissed the bankruptcy case of Infowars' parent company, Free Speech Systems.

The decisions leave the future of his Infowars media platform uncertain, as Jones owes $1.5 billion for his false claims that the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting was a hoax.

Judge Christopher Lopez approved converting Jones' proposed personal bankruptcy reorganization to a liquidation, but threw out the attempted reorganization of his company, Austin, Texas-based Free Speech Systems. Many of the Sandy Hook families had asked that the company also be liquidated.

It wasn't immediately clear what will happen to the company that Jones built into a multimillion-dollar moneymaker over the past 25 years.

Full disclosure: Alex Jones did accuse the parents of being "paid actors," which was the "legal" cause used to sue Jones.

With that said, two judgements equaling $1.5 billion, forcing a man to liquidate the majority of his personal assets (He gets to keep his home), for a personal opinion, seems to be overkill. The courts are allowing these outrageous judgements in these cases to make an example out of Jones.

They are attempting to silence Independent Media from questioning the "official narrative," by trying to destroy a man for his opinion.

Yes, the fact that he publicly called them paid actors gives grounds for defamation, but the judgement amount if unheard of.

From a personal injury legal websites that acknowledges the judgement against Jones, it states "The value of your defamation case is based on your individual circumstances. If you win your defamation case, you could get millions of dollars or as little as $1."

Those are the norms. The judgement against Alex Jones is so far beyond the norm it is astounding, and the courts are being allowed to get away with it.

The families are now trying to take all of Alex Jones' personal media accounts, and they want Infowars, his website, and Free Speech Systems, the parent company, liquidated as well. Jones had already filed for bankruptcy for his companies. The Judge that order the liquidation of his personal assets did not go that far, yet.

The point here is that they plaintiff families, and the courts, are not just trying to make Jones pay for defaming them, they are trying to destroy the man himself in order to scare other Independent Media websites into holding back from criticizing or questioning the official narrative..

Jones has subsequently said he believed the shooting did happen, but if he truly believed it was a hoax, and granted he could have phrased it in a way that made it clear it was just his opinion, but if he believed that, it was his right to give his opinion.

Look, if Jones was in their home and said that, they would have the right to toss his butt out, but he wasn't, he was making pubic statement, offering his take, his belief, to his listeners/viewers, and a $1.5 billion dollar judgement, against someone that had "$9 million in personal assets including his house, according to court filings in his bankruptcy case," is an extreme abuse of the law, and especially the court system.

This is crazy.

BOTTOM LINE....

The bottom line here is simple. Alex Jones is being held up as an example as to what will happen to Independent Media if they question the "official narrative," and do not phrase it perfectly.

Their goal is stop anyone from disagreeing publicly with said narrative.

I'll admit that sometimes Jones can be over-the-top, but that is his schtick, and no person should be financially ruined for having an opinion.

This is wrong, and whether one likes Alex Jones or not, Independent Media needs to stand behind him, stand up for him, stand with him, and speak out against this travesty.
