Time for an update on the state of the "media," namely the liberal establishment media which appears to be watching their industry implode right before their very eyes.
As we see the MSM again embroiled in scandals, fake news and the twisting and turning themselves into pretzels to; 1) Claim they are just as hard-hitting or worse against Biden than they were on Trump; 2) Protect Biden from the failures of his own policies, and; 3) Protect themselves from the actions of some of their own moist high profile hacks....errrr.... 'journalists' and show hosts, we now note the liberal media is completely freaking our about the "right wing" building their own "echo chambers."
Evidently irony is not something they understand, as they, the biggest liberal echo chamber out there, with liberal media personalities reluctantly admitting they do live in their own "bubbles," are whining about the "right" creating their own media empires to counter propaganda arm of the Democrats, aka the "MSM."
LIBERAL MEDIA WHINES ABOUT RIGHT WING MEDIA
We'll be starting with the sudden renewed panic over the the "conservative" and Independent Media entities which are growing in size as the establishment media's audience continues to dwindle, and distrust continues to grow, because if this type of irony, which obviously the left doesn't "get," wasn't so sad and pathetic it would be amusing.
The piece begins with a graph of how downloads of "right-wing" applications, before stating "Conservatives are aggressively building their own apps, phones, cryptocurrencies and publishing houses in an attempt to circumvent what they see as an increasingly liberal internet and media ecosystem."
As a side note because contrary to that assertion by Axios, "they" meaning conservatives mentioned above, are not the only ones that see "an increasingly liberal intent and media bias," which has caused the MSM to once again hit some extreme lows in "trust."
• 36% in U.S. have a "great deal" or "fair amount" of trust in mass media
• 68% of Democrats, 31% of independents and 11% of Republicans trust media
• Democrats' and independents' trust is down five points since 2020, GOP's flat
The visual showing the numbers from 1973 to 2021 is far more dramatic than just reading the numbers.

When Gallup now provides these graphs they start at 1997, which makes the Media's downfall seem less severe, but hunting and offering the images that offer four decades-plus of results, provides a damning picture for the MSM.
The point of this media history aside is to show that Axios, and those sharing their "right wing" media narrative, ignores the severe bias of the MSM, and phrases it for their audience as if the bias is only perceived by conservatives.
The list of right wing platforms named by Axios clearly shows that the Independent Media industry is growing exponentially.
That list includes the following:
• Rumble, a conservative alternative to YouTube, agreed to go public at an implied $2.1 billion valuation via a SPAC merger.
• Donald Trump's new social media company, called Truth Social, also plans to go public via a SPAC and on Saturday said that it secured $1 billion in so-called PIPE financing.
• Gettr, a social app launched by ex-Trump aide Jason Miller, has not disclosed all of its investors, but Miller has acknowledged that one of the app's funders is the family foundation of Chinese billionaire Guo Wengui.
Other than social media platforms, they list other parts of what they describe as the "conservative ecosystem."
Book publishing: Trump allies recently launched a book publishing house called Winning Team Publishing, run by former Trump campaign aide Sergio Gor and Donald Trump Jr. The imprint will publish the ex-President's first book, a coffee table tome that's picture-focused.
Cloud storage: Trump's new social media company will be hosted online by RightForge, an internet infrastructure company that courts conservatives. As Axios' Margaret Harding McGill notes, relying on a conservative web hosting service could help Trump avoid the same issues Parler faced when Amazon pulled its web services following the Capitol siege.
Crypto: A new cryptocurrency called "Magacoin" has already caught the attention of high-profile conservatives, per The Guardian.
Phones: A young Bitcoin entrepreneur is developing a "Freedom phone," a device being marketed to conservatives.
Their bottom line states "Conservative media has been a powerhouse for a long time, but this phase of its expansion isn't just about more or louder conservative voices — it's about building an entire conservative ecosystem."
In response to the Axios piece and the liberals like Stelter wringing their hands over it, John Nolte over at Breitbart, absolutely nails it: (LANGUAGE WARNING)
They cancel us, they blacklist us, they shadow ban us, they memory-hole inconvenient truths about Hunter Biden’s laptop, Kyle Rittenhouse’s innocence, and the coronavirus lab-leak theory, and now they’re all butthurt because we refuse to sit there, shut up, and take it.
Hey, can you blame them?
After decades of dealing with the right’s castrated, house-trained McCains, Romney’s, Bushes, Kristols, and National Reviews, the media are still shell-shocked over this new generation’s awesome belligerence towards them (which our founder Andrew Breitbart deserves much credit for). And so, like a mob of fat, comfortable, uptight Margaret Dumonts in the face of Groucho Marx, the media’s jaws still drop when our response to their shame campaigns is a middle finger and poke in the eye.
Good grief, did these f'ing fascists honestly believe they could blacklist a former President of the United States, and we would sit there and do nothing? Did these fu'ing Nazis seriously think they could monopolize the public square and then blacklist fundamental truths about things like biological sex, and we would just roll over like a Jonah Goldberg?
WAPO WRITER CLAIMS BIDEN TREATED WORSE THAN TRUMP
Dana Milbank at the Washington Post claimed "Opinion: The media treats Biden as badly as — or worse than — Trump. Here’s proof."
The problem for Milbank, is liberal polling guru Nate Silver from FiveThirtyEight, took his claim and the methodology apart in a brutal thread explaining why Milbanks claims are, and I quote, "complete crap."
We would detail a little more but there are a number of other items I would like to touch on, but before moving along, I want to address a specific paragraph of Milbank's piece:
After a honeymoon of slightly positive coverage in the first three months of the year, Biden’s press for the past four months has been as bad as — and for a time worse than — the coverage Trump received for the same four months of 2020.
The past four months?
What could have caused the media to be "mean" to Biden starting about four months ago?
Maybe the botched Afghan withdrawal which left Americans and Afghan allies behind, or perhaps the bombing which killed 13 U.S. service members.
Maybe it was the response to the troop loss, which killed 10 civilians, including up to seven children, after Biden bombed a target they thought was ISIS-related but ended up just being a large family.
Perhaps Milbanks has a problem with counting backwards by four months, or maybe he just thinks the media shouldn't have reported on the massive screw-ups.
In other words, stop being mean to Brandon..... Biden.
CNN EMBROILED IN SCANDAL AGAIN......AND AGAIN......
Now within a two week period, CNN host Chris Cuomo, brother of disgraced former NY Governor Andrew Cuomo was suspended, then fired for "helping" his brother with his sexual assault defense, CNN host Don Lemon has been outed as helping Jussie Smollet with information about the police not believing his story about his MAGA hate crime, which the police say the actor set up himself.
CNN really knows how to pick them. It is a good thing that major investors are planning to bring CNN back into the news businesses instead of a gossip channel.
BOTTOM LINE
There is so much news about the "media" outlets mentioned above and more, yet not enough time or room without making this a multi-page report, but one thing is clear: The liberal, establishment media has destroyed themselves, and now are having a hissy fit over the fact that conservative and Independent Media is growing and preventing their biased narratives from becoming the only narrative for people to find.
For years we have heard commentary saying if we don't like how they treat conservatives, banning, blocking and censoring, we should "build our own." We ourselves have encouraged those with the means to help Independent Media balance the scales and we are finally seeing it happen.
