According to this recent story over at the World Socialist Web Site (saved at archive), the coronavirus 'pandemic' is 'being used' for much more than just 'locking down' America; support for 'socialism' amongst America's younger generations has jumped nearly 10% as more and more of 'America's largest voting block of the future' blames the 'failure of capitalism in 2020' for much of their ills.
Reporting that support for socialism among Americans between the ages of 16 and 39 had gone up to nearly 50% since 'the COVID-19 pandemic has ravaged the US and the world', the story used as its source an annual survey done by an anticommunist group, Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation, and was conducted by YouGov, finding an immense increase in support for socialism over the last year.
So we'll be taking a look within this story at more of the emerging signs that America is being herded into becoming a totalitarian nation, pushed away from capitalism as more and more US businesses go out of business forever due to this 'scamdemic', while America's younger generations turn more and more towards 'socialism' and what they think will be 'free money' and 'free rent'. Forgetting that SOMEONE eventually has to pay for all of that 'free stuff'.
Leah Southwell is a US citizen, wife & mother, and also a coordinator for the John Birch Society. She and her family decided to move to Chile to learn a different culture, language & see another part of the world. During that time, she witnessed the Marxist-Leninists take to the streets & begin an uprising in Chile.
Very soon, Chile would be looking to replace its current constitution with a new one, a more sinister & tyrannical one.
Leah came back to the States, only to discover the same thing was going on here. She joins me in this episode to share what she witnessed & warn the people of the US of the impending threat.
And while the federal, many state and many local governments will try to downplay that 'impending threat' that Southwell warns us about, even Mexico's President Lopez Obrador sees the handwriting on the wall. From this story over at The Guardian saved at Archive.:
Mexicos’s President Andrés Manuel López Obrador suggested on Wednesday that politicians who impose lockdowns or curfews to limit Covid-19 are acting like dictators.
The comments came as López Obrador once again fended off questions about why he almost never wears a face mask, saying it was a question of liberty.
The Mexican leader said pandemic measures that limit people’s movements are “fashionable among authorities … who want to show they are heavy-handed, dictatorship.
“A lot of them are letting their authoritarian instincts show,” he said, adding “the fundamental thing is to guarantee liberty.”
Many governments across the world have effectively implemented lockdowns or limits on when people can leave their homes, something López Obrador has fiercely resisted doing, arguing some people live day-to-day on what they earn on the streets.
And as the Daily Wire reports in this new story, what many people across America are 'earning on the streets' is diminishing greatly in America with more and more Americans out of work due to draconian Covid-19 lockdowns. From that story.:
"A recent study found 800 small businesses a day are closing across the country" Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) wrote Saturday on Twitter.
While some questioned the declaration, Klobuchar was citing a study by Yelp.
"As of August 31, 163,735 total U.S. businesses on Yelp have closed since the beginning of the pandemic (observed as March 1), a 23% increase since July 10.” Yelp estimated that 60% of those closed businesses are not reopening, saying 97,966 are permanently closed, which means more like 500 businesses shuttered each day.
And those numbers are old, missing the last three months, when many state governors renewed shutdowns to stem the rising COVID-19 numbers.
Other data from the University of California Santa Cruz shows the number of closures could be even higher, with more than 316,000 businesses closed between February and September, which puts the number of daily closures at 1,500 a day.
Meanwhile, the New York Post recently reported that Harvard-run database TrackTheRecovery.org showed 27.8% of small businesses in New York haven’t reopened their doors since January. In New Jersey, 31.2% remain closed. The national average, according to the database, is 29.8%.
"It’s devastating how many restaurants have shuttered and jobs have been lost,” Andrew Rigie, executive director of NYC Hospitality Alliances, which represents bars, restaurants, and clubs, told the Post.

So with businesses all across America now going under, taking the hopes and dreams of many of their employees along with them, we come back to this story over at the World Socialist Web Site which refers to all of these business closings as the reason why America needs to become a socialist nation.
Within the Gen Z group (ages 16-23), support for socialism increased nearly ten percentage points over the course of a single year: from 40 percent in 2019 to 49 percent when this poll was taken in September 2020.
Looking at the entire population, support for capitalism declined from 58 percent in 2019 to 55 percent in 2020, while support for socialism among all Americans increased from 36 percent in 2019 to 40 percent in 2020.
An overwhelming majority, 78 percent of all Americans, believe that the divide between the rich and the poor is a serious issue. Of the 68 percent of all Americans who believe that the rich are not paying their fair share in taxes, 49 percent believe that “a complete change of our economic system” is in order.
These statistics quantitatively express a significant shift in political mood and perspective that has occurred over just the last year, as the COVID-19 pandemic has ravaged the US and the world.
While polls from the last few years have shown a substantial increase in support for socialism among young people, as the millennial generation reeled from the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, this data shows that COVID-19, and the descent of the country into political and economic turmoil, has only further discredited the capitalist system.
In fact, according to the report, 60 percent of Millennials (age 24-39) support a “complete change of our economic system away from capitalism,” and 57 percent of Gen Z does as well: increases of 8 and 14 percentage points, respectively, from just last year.
The statistics from the report are also remarkable in demonstrating not only a growing interest in socialism, which contains a mixture of conceptions, but a growing interest in Marxism, specifically. Thirty percent of Gen Z has a favorable view of Marxism, and 27 percent of Millennials.
While the report authors believe their polling has a margin of error of plus or minus 2.32 percent, this explicit support for Marxism among almost a third of young people is a remarkable figure in a country that has been the center of anticommunism for decades.
Furthermore, 74 percent of Gen Z and 70 percent of Millennials do not see Marxism as a “Totalitarian state that suppresses the freedom of its citizens.” According to the report, over a quarter (26 percent) of all Americans support “the gradual elimination of the capitalist system in favor of a more socialist system.” (ANP: Think 'incrementalism' and the 'boiling frog syndrome'!!!)
Particularly, 35 percent of Millennials and 31 percent of Gen Z. These figures reveal an immense political shift that has been taking place over the last several decades within the working class as a whole, and which has been greatly exacerbated by the current political crisis.
In the 2nd video below, 'Proud Boys' leader and 'survivor of Communism' Enrique Tarrio joins the Alex Jones Show to expose the leftist idealism taking hold in America, and how closely it resembles the militant authoritarian communism his family had to flee from in Cuba. And Tarrio warns us that Joe Biden's authoritarian platform for America looks all too familiar to what he lived under before.
