We'd like to start off this story by thanking ANP reader 'Chris' who recently sent us several links, one to this NY Times story (saved at Archive) titled "The 5G Health Hazard That Isn't" within which they immediately attempted to blame the ongoing 5G 'scare' upon the 'inaccurate' scientific charts of one scientist who back in the year 2000 said that WiFi radiation "was likely to be a serious health hazard". As we had also reported on ANP back on May 16th in this story, the NY Times is also blaming 'Russia' for 'economic warfare' over Americans concerns over 5G. With Russia the mainsteam media's 'go to boogey man', should we be surprised?
As Dr. Bill P. Curry warned the Broward County Public School system nearly 20 years ago now after he was asked to study laptops and wireless networks for the 250,000 students of Broward County, the most troubling evidence of WiFi was the "Microwave Absorption in Brain Tissue" with the body of his report detailing how radio waves could sow brain cancer, a terrifying disease that kills most of its victims.
Reporting in their story that over the years, Dr. Curry's warning spread far, resonating with educators, consumers, and entire cities as the frequencies of cell phones, cell phone towers and wireless networks rose, the NY Times then reported "the blossoming anxiety over the professed health risks of 5G technology can be traced to a single scientist and a single chart" before reporting that Dr. Curry and his graph had gotten it all wrong.
Yet as we see in the excerpt of the NY Times story below, they then argue that radio waves become safer at higher frequencies, not more dangerous, while at the same time pointing out that 'extremely high frequency' energies such as x-rays somehow 'behave differently' and do pose a health risk. Yet as we've reported previously on ANP, it has been confirmed that 5G uses nearly the same frequencies as US military crowd control devices which deliver a shocking sensation to their targets, stopping people in their tracks. How could the NY Times be so wrong or, as we asked in this May 16th ANP story, is the NY Times carrying out a massive cover up for 'big tech' and the 5G industry? As we'll see in the next section below, one medical doctor has slammed the NY Times story, picking it apart piece by piece. First, from the NY Times.:
According to experts on the biological effects of electromagnetic radiation, radio waves become safer at higher frequencies, not more dangerous. (Extremely high-frequency energies, such as X-rays, behave differently and do pose a health risk.) (ANP: Hmmmm)
In his research, Dr. Curry looked at studies on how radio waves affect tissues isolated in the lab, and misinterpreted the results as applying to cells deep inside the human body. His analysis failed to recognize the protective effect of human skin. At higher radio frequencies, the skin acts as a barrier, shielding the internal organs, including the brain, from exposure. Human skin blocks the even higher frequencies of sunlight.
Dr. Davis is the Founder and President of the Environmental Health Trust and has authored more than 200 publications in books and journals ranging from the Lancet and Journal of the American Medical Association to Scientific American and the New York Times and has written blogs in Freakonomics, Huffington Post, Physicians for Social Responsibility, MomsRising, Oxford University Press and elsewhere. An award-winning scientist and writer, Davis’ work has appeared in more than a dozen languages.
Dr. Davis's story at Medium absolutely rips apart the NY Times story, finding 10 different mistakes that the Times story actually published and while we're not the least bit surprised that the MSM is pushing more 'fake news', the fact that they're doing it now about a topic that could have profound health implications upon all of us is concerning. From Dr. Davis's story at Medium.:
The recent headline of the NYTimes trumpeted 5G as the “health hazard that isn’t.” Not so fast. A close examination of claims in that article indicates that it is time for a reset on the march to the latest wireless technology as the consequences could not be more monumental.
1. First of all, contrary to Broad’s claim, Dr. Curry’s report and graph on wireless radiation risks to children in schools in 2000 were not the central foundation for scientific concerns regarding wireless radiation. Long before 2000, scientists had investigated and confirmed numerous health impacts of electromagnetic (EMF) radiation.
For over two decades, the US EPA had a robust research program on electromagnetic fields (EMF) that was expressly defunded by Congress in 1995, shortly after the EPA briefed the FCC about plans for developing EMF safety standards.
2. In fact, in contradiction to Broad’s assertion, Curry’s graph showing greater absorption with higher frequency of wireless radiation up to 3G was correct and directly applicable to schools.
Curry’s graph showing brain tissue absorption of RF came directly from laboratory research commissioned by the U.S. Air Force and was not a manipulation of data — as Broad claims.
Broad alleges that Curry’s graph was “wrong” because higher and faster 5G millimeter waves don’t penetrate the skin. In fact, Curry’s chart had nothing to do with the frequencies of 5G, but solely with the lower and slower wireless frequencies in use at that time about which there is no debate that Wi-Fi penetrates the body and brain as does Wi-Max.
Wireless radiation frequencies get faster and higher, the depth of penetration goes down but the rate of absorption goes up.
While 5G will bring faster internet speeds to America with download speeds estimated between 10 and 100 times faster than what we're getting now from 4G, the negative health effects of cell phone radiation in general are well documented and potentially deadly and experts warn what 5G will bring to the table are that much worse.
5G has been created with machines’ needs in mind, offering low-latency, high-efficiency data transfer. It achieves this by breaking data down into smaller packages, allowing for faster transmission times. Whereas 4G has a fifty-millisecond delay, 5G data transfer will offer a mere one-millisecond delay—we humans won’t notice the difference, but it will permit machines to achieve near-seamless communication. Which in itself may open a whole Pandora’s box of trouble for us – and our planet.
First, it’s important to know that in 2011, the World Health Organization’s International Agency for Research on Cancer classified RFR as a potential 2B carcinogen and specified that the use of mobile phones could lead to specific forms of brain tumors.
Many studies have associated low-level RFR exposure with a litany of health effects, including:
DNA single and double-strand breaks (which leads to cancer) oxidative damage (which leads to tissue deterioration and premature ageing) disruption of cell metabolism increased blood-brain barrier permeability melatonin reduction (leading to insomnia and increasing cancer risks) disruption of brain glucose metabolism generation of stress proteins (leading to myriad diseases)
As mentioned, the new 5G technology utilizes higher-frequency MMW bands, which give off the same dose of radiation as airport scanners. The effects of this radiation on public health have yet to undergo the rigours of long-term testing. Adoption of 5G will mean more signals carrying more energy through the high-frequency spectrum, with more transmitters located closer to people’s homes and workplaces—basically a lot more (and more potent) RFR flying around us. It’s no wonder that apprehension exists over potential risks, to both human and environmental health.
Perhaps the strongest concern involves adverse effects of MMWs on human skin. This letter to the Federal Communications Commission, from Dr Yael Stein of Jerusalem’s Hebrew University, outlines the main points. Over ninety percent of microwave radiation is absorbed by the epidermis and dermis layers, so human skin basically acts as an absorbing sponge for microwave radiation. Disquieting as this may sound, it’s generally considered acceptable so long as the violating wavelengths are greater than the skin layer’s dimensions. But MMW’s violate this condition.
Furthermore, the sweat ducts in the skin’s upper layer act like helical antennas, which are specialized antennas constructed specifically to respond to electromagnetic fields. With millions of sweat ducts, and 5G’s increased RFR needs, it stands to reason that our bodies will become far more conductive to this radiation. The full ramifications of this fact are presently unclear, especially for more vulnerable members of the public (e.g., babies, pregnant women, the elderly), but this technology
Furthermore, MMWs may cause our pain receptors to flare up in recognition of the waves as damaging stimuli. Consider that the US Department of Defense already uses a crowd-dispersal method called the Active Denial System, in which MMWs are directed at crowds to make their skin feel like it’s burning, and also has the ability to basically microwave populations to death from afar with this technology if they choose to do so. And the telecommunications industry wants to fill our atmosphere with MMWs?
So why would globalist corporations be pushing the US government to be fast-tracking a technology into America that many scientific and health experts have warned will unleash a world of hurt upon the people of our nation? With Professor Pall's warning that what he called 'the stupidest idea in the history of the world' is being unleashed upon America prematurely, in the short presentation in the 1st video below, Dr. Pall confirms the current 2G/3G/4G radiation the population is exposed to has been scientifically linked with: Lowered fertility, Insomnia, fatigue, depression, anxiety, and major changes in brain structure in animals, Cellular DNA damage, Oxidative stress, Hormonal disruption, Cancer and much more. Dr. Pall also explains for us how 'electrosmog' emitted by our cell phones, wifi routers, cell phone antennas and other wireless technologies affect human cells.
Want to protect yourselves and your family from such harmful radiation which is already coming off of your own devices? A couple of available options include.
So, still think that 5G will be harmless? Dr. Martin Pall offers us his thoughts on 5G in this eye-opening new video.
