Secure America Act On Its Way To President Trump, First Lady Melania Trump Presents Presidential AI Challenge Awards, Patriot RFKSr, And More

By S.E. Gunn, PhDAll News Pipeline

On June 9, 2026, the White House published the release The Secure America Act Ends Democrat Obstruction— Fully Funds CBP, ICE and President Trump’s Border Security Agenda (discussed in my June 8, 2026 ANP Article). The release reiterates that every single Senate Democrat voted against this act. The also voted against all 25 proposed amendments (remember there were a total of 369 amendments since the bill was introduced May 20, 2026) just prior to finally passing this act. The bill now goes back to the House for a vote where the release states:

House Democrats will yet again show the nation that they are the party of open borders, protecting criminal illegal aliens, and defunding the police.

The release goes on to quote a variety of sources (from DHS Secretary to Senators) remarking on how important it is to pass this piece of legislation.

On June 9, 2026, the House passed S2 unchanged in a vote of 214 (all GOP) to 212 (211 Dems & 1 Ind) with 3 GOP and 1 Democrat not voting (discussed in the House section below).

On June 9, 2026, the Office of the First Lady published the statement First Lady Melania Trump Honors America’s Next Generation of Top AI Talent at Historic Presidential AI Challenge Awards Ceremony where the First Lady acknowledged the program's impact on all aspects of society. More than 20,000 from 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and 49 Department of War Education Activity schools across 10 countries participated. Six teams were selected to be recognized as National Champions by the White House. These 6 teams reflect the very best of this year's challenge. The 6 winning teams are:

Here are Melania Trump's full remarks at the Awards Ceremony:

Congratulations to our Presidential AI Challenge winners.  It is wonderful to see this very impressive group of innovators at the White House. I’m proud that you represent the best of America. You are our future. Thank you to Secretaries Wright and Rollins, for being here today. Your support of this program is key to its ongoing success. I also want to recognize everyone who took part in this first AI contest: students, educators, parents, and administrators.

Today is about opening doors. When new doors open, passions flow, courage blossoms, and dreams are realized. AI inspires. Use this chapter of your life to sail away with your dreams—to continue to build boldly, and importantly, to safeguard America’s leading position in the world of technology. As you know, technology supports every business sector today. You saw AI’s potential and created ideas that will shape America’s future in many areas, including healthcare, nutrition, public safety, and beyond.

The first Presidential AI Challenge was broadly welcomed across our nation. More than 20,000 students participated across all 50 states, plus the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and 49 Department of War schools in 10 countries around the world. And we are just at the beginning. Artificial intelligence gives your communities access to the largest amount of information ever recorded in humanity’s history. This fundamental democratization of intellect will profoundly altar society: our industries, our social safety net, and even our open-mindedness toward cultural diversity. Wisdom is tolerance, and change will be enhanced at hyper-speed.

AI’s transformative nature opens new possibilities. AI can help us build a stronger community—making our publicly funded social programs more efficient and more effective. It allows us to deliver more personalized education and in turn, will unlock growth in America’s economy. Keep using artificial intelligence as a muse—to open new pathways, and ultimately, to achieve personal growth and success.

The young finalists here today come from different backgrounds, schools, and communities. Yet you all share something important. You saw a better way, and you chose to act. That spirit—the courage to ask questions, seek innovative solutions, and serve others—is what will continue moving our country forward. Today is about new beginnings. Don’t be reluctant to push that door open, be bold with your dreams, and brave with your actions. And now, please welcome Director Kratsios, whose patronage for technology stands out, and whose commitment to keeping America’s children ahead of the AI curve will leave a lasting impression.

CONGRESS has not fully passed the SAVE America Act. Democrats and Republicans are still fighting over it. It is a very simple bill: show government issued photo ID and prove you are a citizen to register to vote. The ONLY reason to be against this simple bill is if you want people who are NOT citizens to vote. Remember who voted against this bill come November!

In the lawsuit United States v. Rabbitt docket # 1:25-cr-00693 filed in District Court, N.D. Illinois on October 23, 2025 about Indictment of Broadview 6 where An Illinois grand jury indicted congressional candidate Katherine Abughazaleh along with 5 other individuals for allegedly "forcibly impeded, intimidated, and interfered” with the ability of federal officers to "discharge the duties of his office."

The US District Court Northern District of Illinois Eastern District Special Grand Jury Indicted Michael rabbitt, Katherine Marie Abughazaleh, Andre Martin, Catherine Sharp, Brian Straw, and Joselyn Walsh for preventing by force, intimidation, and threat a US law enforcement officer from discharging the duties of his office and to injure him in his person or property because of his lawful discharge of duties. On October 23, 2025, these Special Grand Jury findings were declared Class A Felony III to be charged against each of the listed individuals.

On March 13, 2026, the charges against Catherine Sharp were dropped.

May 26, 2026, Judge April M Perry ordered:

Based upon the Government's representations as to the scope of materials being preserved, motion for emergency preservation order [188] is denied. Defendants' briefs on standing, possible sanctions, and right to discovery at this stage of proceedings are to be filed by 6/16/2026. Government's response brief(s) to be filed by 7/7/2026. Reply briefs to be filed by 7/21/2026. Considering the Government's agreement that at least portions of the grand jury transcripts should be released, the previously−set briefing schedule on this topic is vacated. The parties are asked to meet and confer to discuss the scope of appropriate redactions of the grand jurors' opinions about the case presented. Agreed redactions and redactions in dispute are to be filed by 6/5/2026 under seal. In light of the briefing schedules set, status hearing set for 6/2/2026 is vacated.

On June 9, the grand jury transcripts were released (with redactions) for October 9, 2025; October 16, 2025; and October 23, 2025.

I did not realize that Katherine Abughazaleh was a Democrat candidate for Congress in Illinois. Throw the book at her! She and her co-conspirators had no business involving themselves in Law Enforcement business.

Today's Patriot is Robert Francis Kennedy Sr (aka RFK) who was born November 20, 1925, in Brookline, Massachusetts, of Irish descent. He was 7th of 9 children (all of whom survived to adulthood). RFK was known as the "runt" of the family. A moniker assigned by his father.

In the Kennedy household, it was common to engage in discussions of history and current affairs at the dinner table. RFK was raised at the family compound in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts; the La Querida compound in Palm Beach, Florida, Bronxville, New York, and London (when he accompanied his father, who had been assigned to be US Ambassador to the Court of St James from 1938 to 1940).

After returning to the US just before WWII, RFK was shipped out to a variety of boarding schools. By September 1942, RFK was sent to the Milton Academy in Milton, Massachusetts. He graduated from Milton in May 1944. RFK was seen as a "very intelligent boy, quiet and shy, but not outstanding, and he left  no special mark on Milton" by the Milton Headmaster. RFK began working as a teenager for the Columbia Trust Company (bank) in East Boston where he was assigned to collect rent from tenement houses exposing him to the conditions of urban poverty.

RFK enlisted in the US Naval Reserve as a seaman apprentice in 1943, 6 weeks before his 18th birthday. He was released from the Reserve in March 1944 so he could report to the V-12 Navy College Training Program at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In November 1944, he left that program to attend Bates College in Lewiston, Maine until June 1945 when he returned to Harvard to complete his post-training requirements. He graduated in January 1946.

RFK's oldest brother, Joseph Jr, died in August 1944. On December 15, 1945, the US Navy commissioned the destroyer USS Joseph P Kennedy Jr in his honor. RFK applied to serve on this ship. He was released from training on February 1, 1946 to serve as a seaman apprentice on the ship's first voyage in the Caribbean. RFK was honorably discharged from the Navy on May 30, 1946.

RFK was active during his brother's candidacy for the US House seat in 1946, joining the campaign fully after his discharge from the Navy.

By September 1946, RFK enrolled in Harvard University as a Junior due to his V-12 program training. He joined the Harvard Crimson football team as an end and scored a touchdown in his very first game. Unfortunately, he broke his leg during practice in his senior year. He still earned his varsity letter when the coach sent him in during the last minutes of a game against Yale, cast and all. RFK graduated in 1948 with a BA in political science.

Between Harvard and Virginia, RFK worked as a correspondent for the Boston Post. Six of his stories were published, 4 of them were submitted from Palestine and provided a first-hand view of the tensions just before the end of the British Mandate. In June 1948, RFK reported on the Berlin Blockade. He also covered the convention in San Francisco that led to the Treaty of Peace with Japan.

In September 1948, he enrolled at the University of Virginia School of Law in Charlottesville where he received his Law Degree in June 1951, finishing 56th out of a class of 125. His senior-year paper on Yalta is deposited in the Law Library's Treasure Trove.

On June 17, 1950, RFK married Ethel Skakel at St Mary's Catholic Church in Greenwich, Connecticut. The couple had 11 children all of whom survived to adulthood.

In 1951, RFK was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar working as a lawyer for the DOJ Internal Security Division. In February 1952, he was transferred to the Criminal Division. On June 6, 1952, he resigned to manage his brother, John's, US Senate campaign.

In December 1952, he was appointed to the US Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations from which he resigned in July 1953. From here on he was in politics from a variety of positions, including working on JFK's presidential campaign.

RFK was appointed AG from 1961-1964 by now President JFK, which became controversial. Over time, he became a trusted political adviser, foreign affairs counselor, and trusted confidant to JFK. RFK addressed issues such as organized crime, the Teamsters, juvenile delinquency, civil rights, US Steel, Berlin, Cuba, Japan, and the assassination of his brother JFK on November 22, 1963. RFK was briefly considered as a VP candidate by Lyndon Johnson's team; however, the 2 men disliked each other intensely.

When his brother, Ted, was involved in a small plane crash on June 19, 1964, breaking his back, RFK briefly considered leaving politics. However, a 6-day trip to Germany and Poland convinced him otherwise.  He announced his candidacy for US Senate representing NY on August 25, 1964, winning by over 700,000 votes.

When Lyndon Johnson decided to run for reelection, RFK decided to run against him but was talked out of it by his family. After seeing Johnson's near loss to McCarthy, RFK threw his hat into the ring on March 16, 1968. On March 31, 1968, Johnson dropped out of the race. RFK ran on a platform of racial equality, economic justice, non aggression in foreign policy, decentralization of power, and social improvement.

RFK was leading against McCarthy winning CA and SD on June 4, 1968. He addressed his supporters on June 5, 1968 at about 12:10am at the Ambassador Hotel. He left the ballroom, going through the hotel kitchen (even though his bodyguards told him to avoid the kitchen) because he was told it was a shortcut to the press room. He was shaking hands with busboy Juan Romero as Sirhan Sirhan, a 24-year-old Palestinian fired a .22-caliber revolver hitting RFK 3 times and injuring 5 other people as well.

RFK was pronounced dead at 1:44am on June 6, 1968 nearly 26 hours after he was shot. His body lay in repose at St Patrick's Cathedral on June 8 followed by a high requiem Mass. He is interred close to JFK at the Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia.
