When President Trump criticized "both sides" after the tragic events in Charlottesville, VA, referencing the hatred and bigotry of the white supremacists and the violence of the Antifa groups, the media, in a rush to defend Antifa groups and harm the President, made the same mistake they have made during the entire "Trump era." - They elevated his message to the point where Americans heard it, rather than their spin, and now we are seeing the tide turn against Antifa and the establishment media.
THE PATTERN CONTINUES TO REPEAT ITSELF
When I use the term "Trump era" I am referencing the time frame from the moment he announced his candidacy up to present day.
A pattern has played out time and time again where Trump speaks, the media blares headlines misrepresenting his message, then they spend countless hours, even days, blasting his words to their audience, showing videos clips of his statements, spinning them to label him racist misogynist, xenophobic, and every other negative descriptor they can come up with, but it gets to a point where the media "spin" stops being heard and "we the people" can't help but to actually hear his original message, after all the media plays it in an endless loop.
We have watched this pattern play out from the day President Trump announced his candidacy, and the more the MSM declared each statement the end of his candidacy, replaying his words over and over again, the higher he rose in the polls, until he knocked out 16 Republican challengers, became the Republican nominee, then went on to win the presidential electoral college and he became the President of the United States of America.
There are a couple of things the MSM seems to be incapable of understanding. 1) When they replay Donald Trump's words over and over again, people finally hear his message above and beyond their "spin," but in their constant attempt to destroy the president, they are elevating his message, and support for that message. 2) Candidate Trump, then GOP nominee Trump, then President Elect Trump, and now president Trump..... knew it and still knows it and uses the media's own bias and attempts to destroy him to carry his message to the country.
That is exactly what President Trump did with his Charlottesville statements, highlighting the bad folks on "both sides."
ANTIFA PUTS ITSELF IN THE CROSSHAIRS
For decades hate groups have been spewing their nonsense and once seen, Americans largely turned away from them in disgust. For example, Westboro, holding their signs saying "God hates fags," and protesting and disrupting military funerals, while declaring victims of Katrina deserved to die. Independent media and some MSM showed those signs, showed that hate, Americans tuned away in disgust and ignored them and their message.
Same for the KKK and white spremacist groups, who have been holding their marches and spewing their hate and bigotry for decades, with Americans ignoring them and moving along with their lives.
Then came Antifa groups, that decides to plan "events," and schedule protests all over the country and rather than highlighting the hate of the KKK and neo-Nazi groups, instead the images dominating search engines, are of a bunch of masked thugs calling themselves Antifa, carrying sticks with nails, and attacking everyone in sight that doesn't stand with them, committing violence against law enforcement, throwing bottles of urine and bags of feces, starting fires, rioting, destroying property, etc.
LANGUAGE WARNING for the clip below where an Antifa thugs is cussing out liberals for not standing with them and not committing violent acts.
Another example of Antifa verbally attacking the left comes from Boston Antifa, in a tweet on August 19, 2017:
Newsflash to Antifa: Liberals and social justice warriors, along with the media, are about the only people in this country that have been trying to defend Antifa's violence.
Then we have Antifa attacking a group of African Americans in Dallas, with one man telling the Antifa group to "take the mask off."
Thought Antifa was claiming to be standing up for the rights of "people of color" against racism, yet if those same people don't agree with them, they have no problem physically attacking them.
Talk about eating your own.
THE MEDIA HELPS TURN THE TIDE AGAINST ANTIFA GROUPS
In an attempt to once again destroy the President the media made a fatal mistake of elevating his message pointing out that while white supremacy and those holding Nazi signs were bad, that the "other side" came in masks, carrying clubs, with the sole intent of causing violence, and the American people, who had largely been unaware of exactly how violent these Antifa groups were, woke up and started seeing these masked thugs for what are, and now Americans are speaking out.
For example, CNN tried elevate Antifa in the eyes of their dwindling readers, doing a profile the groups, with the headline "Unmasking the Leftist Antifa Movement: Activists Seek Peace Through Violence," in an attempt to justify Antifa's antics....but, ooooops, they inadvertently admitted Antifa is a violent group. Can't have that, so CNN changed the headline to remove any reference of "violence." The new headline just says "Unmasking the leftist Antifa movement," with an editors note explaining they removed the reference to violence because Antifa didn't like it. (Archive is link here)
Editor's note: This story has been updated to clarify that counterprotesters say they are not to blame for violence at the Charlottesville protest. The story's headline has also been updated.
A petition to the White House, started on August 17, 2017, titled "Formally recognize AntiFa as a terrorist organization," has already garnered over 270,000 votes in just the first six full days. The petition is shot and simple and states the following:
Terrorism is defined as “the use of violence and intimidation in pursuit of political aims”. This definition is the same definition used to declare ISIS and other groups, as terrorist organizations. AntiFa has earned this title due to its violent actions in multiple cities and their influence in the killings of multiple police officers throughout the United States. It is time for the pentagon to be consistent in its actions – and just as they rightfully declared ISIS a terror group, they must declare AntiFa a terror group – on the grounds of principle, integrity, morality, and safety.
It is not only online activists that are calling out Antifa groups, but as seen below, Alex Jones talks with founding member of the original Black Panther party Larry Pinkney, about how the left is pushing for violent race war.
NOTE- Before watching, let me clarify that the black Panthers are not the same as the "New Black Panther Party," which made massive headlines as groups with batons were seen intimidating voters at voting locations during the 2008 election and the original Black Panthers group at the time denounced them and their tactics.
The New Black Panther Party catapulted itself to national attention during the November 2008 presidential election when two of its members, one brandishing a nightstick, were captured on videotape intimidating voters at a Philadelphia polling place.
But the original Black Panther Party, which famously advocated black power and preached self-defense through confrontation in the 1960s and 1970s, is not happy with the new upstart. It has condemned the New Black Panther Party and its tactics, saying the NBPP “stole” the party’s name for its “own misguided purposes.”
The Huey P. Newton Foundation Inc., created in 1993 and co-founded by Fredrika Newton, Black Panther leader Huey P. Newton’s widow, said in a statement that the original party was “never a group of angry young militants full of fury toward the white establishment … but operated on love for black people, not hatred of white people.
“As guardian of the true history of the Black Panther Party, the foundation, which includes former leading members of the party, denounces this group’s exploitation of the party’s name and history,” the statement said. “Failing to find its own legitimacy in the black community, this band would graft the party’s name upon itself, which we condemn.
Mr. Pinkney says the Antifa groups today that are claiming to be "anti-Fascists," are in reality "neo-liberal fascists," that are controlled by the Soros, Obama, Clinton machine, plus the deep state."
Another person calling out Antifa is Alan Dershowitz, who explains that Antifa should not be glorified in any manner, they are trying to tear down America.
There are many, many more examples, but the point here is that Americans, thanks to the mainstream media's attempt to destroy President Trump for calling out groups like Antifa and their violent antics, have actually managed to prove the President right, and Americans by and large are coming out against Antifa.
Another important point that needs to be made here is that Antifa groups have divided America even more, but while trying bring the country to full out civil war in the streets to overthrow the duly elected government, they have also now managed to alienate members of the left, basically creating a civil war within a civil war, inside of the Democratic party.
Once again everybody in the media underestimated President Trump's ability to get his message across to Americans across the country and in fact, the MSM in their attempt to destroy him, actually elevated that message and Americans heard it, loud and clear.
By the way, they are doing it again today, making such a big deal of President Trump's rally speech in Phoenix last night, calling it rambling, crazy and a whole host of other names, that they are making sure Americans see that Trump called out Antifa..... by name.
Seriously, at this point the President might as well send them a box of chocolates and some flower baskets and say thank you!
