WSJ Reporters Banned From Private White House Spaces, Liberation Of Guam Anniversary, 3 White House Articles, OBBB Title VII Continued, And Patriot John Adams
July 21, 2025 was the 81st anniversary of the beginning of the Liberation of Guam. The US acquired Guam and the Philippines from Spain in 1898 following the Spanish-American War. The Island of Guam had been a US territory from then untilDecember 8-10, 1941, when the Japanese invaded and captured the island. The capture of Guam happened just 1 week after the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii on Dec 7, 1941.
It took the US until July 21, 1944 (about 2 1/2 years) to prepare a battle plan to retake not only the island of Guam but the rest of the Mariana Island and Palau Island group as well. This battle was part of the Operation Forager Campaign.
The rescue of Guam was performed by Marines from the 3rd Marine Amphibious Corps, Soldiers from the 77th Infantry Division of the Army, and Coast Guard cutters. In total, there were slightly less than 60,000 US Service Members facing over 24,000 Japanese. The US lost about 1,800 troops while the Japanese lost over 23,000. Less than 1,500 surrendered. Although August 10, 1944 was considered the last day of the battle for the Liberation of Guam, around 7,500 Japanese remained in the jungles continuing the fight with the last Japanese soldier being discovered on Jan 24, 1972. The Japanese formally surrendered on September 2, 1945.
While we honor the Service Members who gave their lives to reclaim the Island of Guam from the Japanese in 1944, let us not forget that out of 60 Marine War Dogs deployed, 20 War Dogs were wounded and25 War Dogsgave their lives to protect their handlers. They were named Kurt, Skipper, Nic, Missy, Blitz, Bursch, Yonnie, Poncho, Prince, Cappy, Arno, Pepper, Koko, Tubby, Fritz, Duke, Silver, Ludwig, Bunkie, Hobo, Emmy, Max, Brockie, Rickie, and Tam (who was buried at sea off Asan Point).
These dogs served as sentries, messengers, scouts, cave explorers, mine detectors, and booby trap finders. A total of 465 War Dogs served in the Marines at the time of the Liberation of Guam with 85% were Doberman Pinschers and the rest were mainly German Shepherds.
At the end of the Pacific War, the Marine Corps had a total of 510 War Dogs (some were provided by the Army). Of these 491 were deprogrammed successfully, only 4 could not be successfully deprogrammed. The article does not say what happened to the 4 War Dogs who could not be deprogrammed. Nor does it address the other 15 making up the difference between the 510 total and 495 that were deprogrammed. Perhaps they stayed with the program?
On July 21, 2025, the White House published thePresidential Message on the 81st Anniversary of the Liberation of Guamin which President Trump honors the "strength, courage, and unbreakable resilience" of those who fought to free Guam. President Trump also pays tribute to the Service Members and Guam Residents who made the ultimate sacrifice to Liberate Guam from the tyrannical control of the Japanese. President Trump reiterates that under his leadership, "the US remains committed to upholding a foreign policy of peace through strength - and we will never waver in defending our interests, our citizens, our territory, and our glorious way of life from all enemies, foreign and domestic."
Also on July 21, 2025, the White House published 3 articles about the President and his Administration's accomplishments since they know that over 90% of what the propaganda media reports is skewed to the negative where what President and his Administration have accomplished is concerned. If they can't make it negative, they tend to skip it entirely.
🚨 BREAKING: In a stunning vindication of President Trump's tariff strategy, American tomato farmers are seeing the positive benefits of tariffing Mexican tomatoes.

And speaking of the propaganda media, President Trump has banished the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) from the press pool at the White House. And propaganda media is making a big deal over it with stories from CNN(to punish), The Guardian(increased retaliation), Al Jazeera(because WSJ covered 'his links to the notorious financier Jeffrey Epstein), Politico(for covering an alleged sexually suggestive message to Epstein), Deadline(because of a recent story on the president's connections to Jeffrey Epstein), The Hill(because they reported on the president's alleged relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein), The Times of India(over criticism of WSH's coverage regarding the president's connections to Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender), Spectrum News(the ban reflects Trump's aggressiveness toward media who displease him), The Economic Times(because the WSJ published a birthday message allegedly sent by him to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein) to name a few. And that's just from the first page of search results! Of these stories, only theNY Times(for defamation) called it correctly in this case. Of these 10 publications, 90% of them reported on this issue negatively.
Let's remember that on June 6, 2025 the Appeals Court said President Trump has the rightto ban members of the press from restricted spaces (areas that are not open to the general public) such as the Oval Office, Air Force One, etc. This ruling allowed President Trump to ban the AP for not calling the body of water between Texas and Florida the "Gulf of America" simply because they did not agree with the EO renaming said body of water.
Now, President Trump has filed a defamation lawsuit against the WSJ. He TOLD them the story they were preparing to publish was false and they ran with it anyway. So he has decreed that the WSJ shall not be allowed into private spaces while the lawsuit is pending. I don't blame him. I would not host any reporters who deliberately spread fake or false news about me either.
Sec. 71101. Moratorium on implementation of rule relating to eligibility and enrollment in Medicare Savings Programs. From July 4, 2025 until September 30, 2034, the Secretary of HHS cannot implement, administer, or enforce the amendments made by the provisions of the final rule published by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services on September 21, 2023. $1,000,000 is funded for fiscal year 2026.
Sec. 71102. Moratorium on implementation of rule relating to eligibility and enrollment for Medicaid, CHIP, and the Basic Health Program. From July 4, 2025 until September 30, 2034, the Secretary of HHS cannot implement, administer, or enforce the amendments made by the provisions of the final rule published by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services on April 2, 2024.
Sec. 71103. Reducing duplicate enrollment under the Medicaid and CHIP programs. Starting not later than January 1, 2027 States will regularly obtain address info for enrolled individuals. Beginning not later than October 1, 2029 the State shall submit no less than once a month, the determination/redetermination of eligibility of enrollees in the HHS approved system. The system will verify that an enrollee is entered only once in the system. The Secretary, starting October 1, 2029, may determine what data the state is required to provide to the system to ensure matching compatibility. $10,000,000 is set aside for fiscal year 2026 and $20,000,000 for fiscal year 2029 to accomplish this task.
Sec. 71104. Ensuring deceased individuals do not remain enrolled. Beginning January 1, 2027 quarterly screening will commence to verify enrollee status. If the person is determined to have died, disenrollment will be initiated.
Sec. 71105. Ensuring deceased providers do not remain enrolled. Beginning January 1, 2028, providers are to be compared to the Death Master File and removed if found to be entered therein.
Sec. 71106. Payment reduction related to certain erroneous excess payments under Medicaid effective fiscal year 2030.
Sec. 71107. Eligibility redeterminations. Section 1902(e)(14) of the Social Security Act (42 USC 1396a(e)(14)) is amended to begin after December 31, 2026 wherein the States will made a redetermination every 6 months for specified individuals. Not later than January 4, 2026, the HHS Secretary shall issue guidance on this section. $75,000,000 is set aside for fiscal year 2026.
Sec. 71108. Revising home equity limit for determining eligibility for long-term care services under the Medicaid program seems to basically excludes farms effective January 1, 2028.
Sec. 71109. Alien Medicaid eligibility. Excludes aliens in the US illegally. $15,000,000 is set aside for fiscal year 2026 to accomplish this section.
Sec. 71110. Expansion FMAP for emergency Medicaid. Beginning October 1, 2026 applies the Federal medical assistance percentage to the emergency medical treatment of aliens. $1,000,000 is set aside for fiscal year 2026 for this program.
Frankly, I am a bit disappointed in this entire section. I wanted to see retroactive removal of both dead people and illegal aliens removed within 180 days of signing. The 2-year delay simply gives them more time to rip off the US taxpayer.
Sec. 71111. Moratorium on implementation of rule relating to staffing standards for long-term care facilities under the Medicare and Medicaid programs (89 Fed Reg 40876 sections 483.5 and 483.35) through September 30, 2034.
Sec. 71112. Reducing State Medicaid costs by not funding care provided before the person was eligible for the program effective after December 31, 2026. $10,000,000 is funded for fiscal year 2026.
Sec. 71113. Federal payments to prohibited entities effective July 4, 2025 no abortion clinic can receive funding for an abortion unless (I) if the pregnancy is the result of an act of rape or incest; or (II) in the case where a woman suffers from a physical disorder, physical injury, or physical illness, including a life-endangering physical condition caused by or arising from the pregnancy itself, that would, as certified by a physician, place the woman in danger of death unless an abortion is performed. $1,000,000 is allocated for fiscal year 2026 to carry out this section.
So, this is the section that basically stops payments to Planned Parenthood as far as abortion services go. Although, I can see many attempting to get around items I & II unless documentation is required.
Sec. 71114. Sunsetting increased FMAP incentive amending that all amounts allocated for individuals under this provision be expended prior to January 1, 2026.
Sec. 71115. Provider taxes beginning on or after October 1, 2026, the applicable percent shall by 6% in all instances. This provision only applies to the 50 states and District of Columbia.$20,000,000 is set aside for fiscal year 2026 for this provision.
Sec. 71116. State directed payments grandfathers certain payments and protects payments for rural hospitals, critical access hospitals, rural emergency hospitals, and hospitals that are low-volume or Medicare-dependent. $7,000,000 is allocated for each fiscal year 2026 through 2033 to carry out this section.
Sec. 71117. Requirements regarding waiver of uniform tax requirement for Medicaid provider tax across all 50 states and the District of Columbia effective July 4, 2025 subject to applicable transition periods determined by the Secretary of HHS not to exceed 3 fiscal years.
Sec. 71118. Requiring budget neutrality for Medicaid demonstration projects under section 1115 effective January 1, 2027. $5,000,000 for each fiscal year 2026 and 2027 is set aside to implement this section.
I wonder what the states will do to cover the possible shortfall?
Sec. 71119. Requirement for States to establish Medicaid community engagement requirements for certain individuals. This section requires "monthly community engagement" as identified: (A) works not less than 80 hours, (B) not less than 80 hours of community service, (C) participates in a work program for not less than 80 hours, (D) is enrolled in an educational program at least half-time (6 credits for undergrad, 3 credits for grad), (E) engages in any combination of A to D for a total of not less than 80 hours, (F) the individual's monthly income is not less than minimum wage multiplied by 80 hours, (G) monthly income in the preceding 67 months that is not less than the applicable minimum wage. Exceptions can be made for incarceration or short-term hardship. This provision provides an option to conduct more frequent compliance verifications. This section also sets forth State procedures in the case of noncompliance by individuals. Any exemptions granted under this section must expire not later than December 31, 2028. Early termination from the program is allowable. $100,000,000 is allocated for fiscal year 2026 to award grants under paragraph (1)(A) and another $100,000,000 is allocated for fiscal year 2026 to award grants under paragraph (1)(B). An additional $200,000,000 is to be made available for fiscal year 2026 to carry out the requirements of this section.
In other words, if they are able, they must work no less than an average of 20 hours per week (and/or volunteer for community service and/or attend school).
Sec. 71120. Modifying cost sharing requirements for certain expansion individuals under the Medicaid program. Those with a family income that exceeds the poverty line and is enrolled are subject to this section. Cost sharing may not exceed 5% of the family income of the family involved as applied in a monthly or quarterly basis. Effective October 1, 2028. States are responsible for verifying compliance on at least a monthly basis. $15,000,000 is allocated to carry out this provision for fiscal year 2026.
Sec. 71121. Making certain adjustments to coverage of home or community-based services under Medicaid. States will establish 'needs-based' criteria for home or community-based services. Funds cannot be paid to a 3rd party. Effective July 1, 2028. $50,000,000 is allocated for fiscal year 2026 and $100,000,000 is allocated for fiscal year 2027 to carry out this section.
Guard liberty well; for once lost, it is lost forever.
Today's Patriot, John Adams, was born October 30, 1735 at the family farm in Braintree, Massachusetts. He was the oldest of 3 children. At age 6, he attended Dame school. Then he attended Braintree Latin School where he studied Latin, rhetoric, logic, and arithmetic. John was somewhat of a rebel at school, skipping class, disliking his teacher, and telling his parents he wanted to be a farmer. Luckily for us, John's father put his foot down. The school hired a new schoolmaster and all settled down. John credited his mother for forming his character. In 1751, at age 16, John started at Harvard College.
After graduation from College, John was a school teacher in Worcester. After teaching for 4 years, he decided to become a lawyer. By 1754, when the French and Indian War began, he joined the militia (the first in his family to do so).
In 1756 John began "reading law" under James Putnam. By 1759 he was admitted to the bar. At one point, John was writing under the pseudonym "Humphrey Ploughjogger" writing essays for Boston newspaper. His law focus was on constitutional law.
John married his 3rd cousin, Abigail Smith on October 25, 1764. They had 6 children, 3 boys and 3 girls. All 3 boys became lawyers. The family lived at the farm he inherited in 1761 when his father died. His oldest son, John Quincy Adams would eventually become president.
John became involved in politics over the Stamp Act. The Stamp Act was repealed by 1766. In 1768 John moved his family to Boston where he focused on his law practice. He successfully defended John Hancock when Hancock was charged with smuggling. On March 5, 1770 John became attorney for British soldiers accused of murder in the Boston Massacre because John believed everyone should have a right to counsel as well as a fair trial and no other lawyers stepped up to defend the accused. Of the 9 men he defended, 7 ended in acquittal and the other two were convicted of manslaughter. John is recorded as saying to the court: "Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence."
On June 7, 1770, John's political career officially started when he became a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives. Some claim his achievement in the defense of the Boston Massacre defendants lead to this position. Between 1770 and 1772, John was advocating for a peaceful resolution to the problem with the Crown. By 1772, the Crown started paying the salaries of the Governor and Judges in Massachusetts instead of the Massachusetts legislature. Once the Crown started paying his salary, the Governor of Massachusetts decreed that resistance against the Crown was illegal. By 1773, protesters dumped 342 chests of tea into the bay. John called this action a necessary action.
By 1774, the First Continental Congress was convened. John was chosen as one of the 4 delegates to attend to represent Massachusetts. He was appointed to the committee tasked to draft the Colonies' letter of grievances to the Crown. During this time, John still saw benefits in being tied to the Crown. The petition was sent to the Crown while the Colonies boycotted British goods. After the Battles of Lexington and Concord, John viewed a militia camp and was sorely disappointed by the conditions and lack of discipline among the members of the militia. Less than a month later, he was leading the Massachusetts delegation to the Second Continental Congress.
By June 1775, he nominated George Washington of Virginia as commander-in-chief of the Continental army. In April 1776, John wrote Thoughts on Government which laid out his framework for a republican constitution. He drafted the first set of regulations for the provisional navy. It was John who organized the Committee of Five to write the Declaration of Independence. It was also John who selected John Hancock to lead the committee because "John Hancock was a Virginian" while John Adams described himself as "obnoxious, suspected, and unpopular." John ultimately sat on 90 Continental Congress committees, chairing 25 of them and acted as a Secretary of War keeping correspondence with the Continental Army.
John acted as Commissioner to France in 1778 to establish trade and negotiate a commercial treaty. He took his oldest son, John Quincy, with him. During the crossing, the ship captured a British vessel. He returned to Massachusetts August 2, 1779. Later that year, he took sons John Quincy and Charles with him to Ferrol, Spain and then on to Paris, France. France decided that they would deal only with Benjamin Franklin, so John and his 2 sons left. By mid 1780, John was in the Dutch Republic as Ambassador. After successfully negotiation a loan from the Dutch, he was appointed lead commissioner to negotiate the Treaty of Paris which was signed September 3, 1783 which officially recognized American Independence.
From 1789-1797, John became Vice President of the Unites States by losing to George Washington. In 1796, George Washington chose not to run for a 3rd term. Adams won by a narrow margin becoming president from 1797-1801. He did not seek re-election, retiring to the farm.
John's wife, Abigail, died October 28, 1818 from typhoid. In 1824, John's son John Quincy was featured in a 4-way contest for the presidency (he won). John died of a heart attack on July 4, 1826 at age 91 on the 50th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence. John and Abigail reside in the Adams' crypt of United First Parish Church which also contains the bodies of John Quincy and his wife Louisa.
