According to scientists and wildlife researchers as shared in this new story from The Guardian, a new study claims the “biological annihilation” of wildlife in recent decades means a sixth mass extinction in Earth’s history is underway and is more severe than previously feared.
While their story's report that "billions of populations of animals have been lost in recent decades" might not be a huge surprise to those who've been paying attention to the thousands of 'mass animal death events' that we've been reporting upon on ANP, events that have been steadfastly documented by the End Times Prophecy Blog from year to year, the bluntness of the warning they've issued comes as a bit of a surprise.:
Scientists analysed both common and rare species and found billions of regional or local populations have been lost. They blame human overpopulation and overconsumption for the crisis and warn that it threatens the survival of human civilization, with just a short window of time in which to act.
The study, published in the peer-reviewed journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, eschews the normally sober tone of scientific papers and calls the massive loss of wildlife a “biological annihilation” that represents a “frightening assault on the foundations of human civilization”.
Prof Gerardo Ceballos, at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, who led the work, said: “The situation has become so bad it would not be ethical not to use strong language.”

As we read in this new story from the Orlando Sentinel, 'monkey shenanigans' are on the rise in Ocala, Florida where a series of unwanted interactions between monkeys and humans have led to park areas being closed. Actually reporting that the monkeys "have essentially taken over", as Steve Quayle mentioned within an SQnote he left while linking to that story, "with all the animals changing along with the abject manifestation of demons manifesting - the term 'bat manure crazy' is fitting."
