The facts are not in dispute, the MSM and Alternative Media have detailed them clearly, it is the interpretation of those facts where we see a divide between those that believe a massive storm is coming and are preparing for the fallout, and those that say "nothing to see here, move along."
FACTS
Police Militarization - Over the last years we have seen reports of military, battlefield assets being utilized on US soil by local and state law enforcement including but not limited to military armored personnel carriers, machine guns, ammunition, camouflage and night vision equipment, silencers and even aircraft, as described by New York Times. That type of equipment is still flowing in to local police departments across America.
Religious Attacks - In at least one documented instance Army training material listed Evangelical Christianity, Catholicism and even “Islamophobia” as examples of “religious extremism, alongside terror groups such as the Ku Klux Klan, Hamas and al-Qaeda. The Army removed the offending "slide" after complaints, but subsequent reports such as military Chaplains being "threatened with damaging reports in their files or even possible discharge from the ranks," for "for counseling or preaching in ways faithful to their more orthodox denominations," show what many believe is definite attack against religious beliefs.
Military Purge Under Obama - The list of high level military members that have been discharged during Obama's term (The Last Great Stand has compiled the list), in what many call the "purge," is unprecedented (except under Stalin) , leading to an op-ed discussing that very topic, writen by J.D. Gordon, a retired Navy commander and former Pentagon spokesman who served in the Office of the Secretary of Defense from 2005 to 2009 who stated in 2013 "Danger signs appear everywhere."
Labeling Political Opponents - CNN reported in February 2015, that according to a DHS report, "Some federal and local law enforcement groups view the domestic terror threat from sovereign citizen groups as equal to – and in some cases greater than – the threat from foreign Islamic terror groups, such as ISIS, that garner more public attention."
Federalizing Local And State Police Forces - In December 2014, Barack Obama signed an Executive Order establishing the President's Task Force on 21st Century Policing. The Task Force Members sought expertise from stakeholders and input from the public as they worked to identify best practices and make recommendations to the President. The report was released in March 2015, PDF here, which Obama unveiled in early March, stating "We need to seize that opportunity… this is something that I’m going to stay very focused on in the months to come," then instructing the media exactly how he wanted this handled by them saying "I expect our friends in the media to really focus on what’s in this report and pay attention to it." Jade Helm 15 - From July 15th to September 15th of 2015, the US Army's Green Berets, US Navy Seals, US Marines Special Ops Command and US Air Force Special Ops Command will be taking part in 'Jade Helm 15', 8 weeks of night time drills in 7 states in the southwestern portion of America in which the states of Texas and Utah are both labeled 'hostile' territory in the 'drills." THE DISCONNECT AND MSM LIES
Many interpret the reports discussed and linked above as a storm brewing, setting up America for the ultimate showdown between the US goverment and a large segment of the American people, and others believe the official explanations for each of the aforementioned facts, with much of the disconnect between the two being how the mainstream media spins those events.
One clear example of that "spin" can be seen in a USA Today report from May 7, 2015, discussing Jade Helm 15, which states "Announced in March, Jade Helm 15 will span seven states, including Texas, Arizona and New Mexico, and involve U.S. Special Operations forces such as Navy SEALs and Army Special Forces, better known as Green Berets, using public and private lands to train for overseas missions. The eight-week exercise will begin July 15. Similar training exercises have occurred before but none this big, according to the military."

Announced in March??? By who? Where?
Here are a couple other facts these MSM outlets neglect to report to their readers. The US military did not "announce" these training exercises. The Jade Helm document was leaked to ANP, which was published on March 13, 2015, which caused an immediate Internet storm, with push back from Stars and Stripes stating "Officials at USASOCM were not able to immediately verify the authenticity of the slide show because their computer firewalls prevented them from accessing the websites where the document appeared."

They went on to report:
Army Lt. Col. Mark Lastoria, a USASOC spokesman, confirmed that there is an upcoming exercise called Jade Helm 15 which is scheduled to take place this summer at locations in Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Colorado, California and Nevada. But he denied the event is preparation for some sort of military takeover.
That Stars and Stripes report came out eight days after the document was leaked, so it was not the US government, nor the military, nor the MSM that "announced" Jade Helm to the American people, it was Alternative Media that blew it wide open..... they simply responded because it became extremely controverisal.
Think about that one line.... Jade Helm was announced in March.....if you had not heard of Jade Helm before reading that, you would instantly assume, wrongly, that the US governement, or the military openly and transparently "announced" this scheduled operation and those horrible "conspiracy theorists" jumped on that announcement and caused a ruckus!
The USA Today report is representative of the outright lies, interspersed with very little truth, a classic tactic when providing disinformation, the MSM is feeding their readers in order to create the type of disconnect and divide between people learning the facts of what is happening right before their eyes, to convince them that there is nothing to see here, move along, everything that is happening is normal.
The MSM has forgotten that basic truth. When you see Obama instructing them on how to report an issue and then watch them do so, when you see them outright lie about the facts in order to "spin" a story, then we begin to see why there is so much distrust, why those "conpsiracy theorists," are forced to speculate because in the absence of transparency, when the MSM and the US government continue to be busted for deliberately lying to the people, there is just cause to doubt everything they are telling us.
BOTTOM LINE
The facts show us a number of actions that appear to many to be preparation to lock down America, label political dissidents as "extremists," and training to declare war on US citizens.
Others believe the facts above are a normal progression and there is nothing to worry about.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but not their own facts. We would ask they don't make that determination according to what we report or what the MSM reports, we would ask they research each and every issue stated above, read everything, and then decide.
Utilize your search engine, then utilize your brain, because some believe the "mother of all storms is on the horizon," and if they are correct, then people need to be prepared.
It is better to be prepared and have nothing happen than to be unprepared if the worst does happen.
