This Is Going To Be Huge: Media Meltdown In Progress As Conservative Operation Turns 'Journalistic Techniques' Against The Liberal Media That Created The 'New Rules' Of Journalism
In order to understand how huge this story is about to become of the course of the next year, one has to remember a few examples of the liberal establishment media's "new rules" of journalism. Digging up old comments, or social media posts, or using selectively edited videos to target children falsely, and threatening a random internet user with exposure if their online "behavior" was deemed unacceptable, has become the standard procedure for the MSM to use against conservatives.
So, a very brief trip down memory lane, with links for those that may not have seen these few examples.
THE 'NEW RULES' OF JOURNALISM FOR ESTABLISHMENT MEDIA
Remember when CNN ambushed an elderly female Trump supporter, at her home, because she shared a social media post that some Russian group had shared? They harassed her, accused her of being a Russian puppet, doxxed her (revealed her home address in their video coverage), resulting in her being viciously harassed online and off.
Remember when the liberal establishment media, collectively, targeted a group of Covington Catholic students using a selectively edited video clip, accusing them of being "racist," of "surrounding" and "taunting," and "mocking" an elderly Native American man, when in fact, he approached them, he starting banging his drums in the student's face, resulting in the students receiving death threats?
Remember when the Daily Beast hunted down and exposed the name of a man for no other reason than he shared a video of Nancy Pelosi in slow motion so she appeared drunk?
Last, but not least in this short set of examples out of many, remember when CNN blackmailed a random internet user who created a entertaining GIF of President Trump body-slamming a person with the CNN logo super-imposed over the head, threatening to reveal this man's name publicly if his "ugly behavior on social media" continued?
I bring these examples of in our trip down memory lane to highlight the "journalistic techniques" being utilized as part of the standard operating procedure against Trump supporters and conservatives, where social media posts apparently are justification to target a random private citizen, for nothing more than they disapprove of their ideology or political beliefs.
These are the new rules of journalism the establishment media created and use against anyone they disagree with.
THE TABLES TURN ON LIBERAL MEDIA
On Sunday August 25, New York Times writer Kenneth Vogel, blasted out a promotion for an article he co-wrote, stating "NEW FRONT IN THE WAR ON THE PRESS: TRUMP allies say they have archived embarrassing posts by hundreds of employees of @nytimes, @washingtonpost, @CNN & others. The TRUMP allies plan to disseminate the posts in response to coverage they consider unfair," along with a link to the article itself. (Archive.is link here since NYT is behind a paywall)
By "TRUMP allies" they are referencing a group of conservatives outside of the White House, that have spent their time collecting, taking screen shots and archiving over a decades worth of old social media "behavior" and posts by employees of some of the largest liberal establishment media outlets, many of the same ones that have been targeting Trump supporters and conservatives over the past three years.

A loose network of conservative operatives allied with the White House is pursuing what they say will be an aggressive operation to discredit news organizations deemed hostile to President Trump by publicizing damaging information about journalists.
It is the latest step in a long-running effort by Mr. Trump and his allies to undercut the influence of legitimate news reporting. Four people familiar with the operation described how it works, asserting that it has compiled dossiers of potentially embarrassing social media posts and other public statements by hundreds of people who work at some of the country’s most prominent news organizations.

The operation has compiled social media posts from Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, and stored images of the posts that can be publicized even if the user deletes them, said the people familiar with the effort. One claimed that the operation had unearthed potentially “fireable” information on “several hundred” people.
Last but not least out of the lengthy article, and the most self unaware statement they could have made:
But using journalistic techniques to target journalists and news organizations as retribution for — or as a warning not to pursue — coverage critical of the president is fundamentally different from the well-established role of the news media in scrutinizing people in positions of power.
It is difficult to know where to start when unpacking this, so we will point out that they just admitted the conservative group is using the new rules of journalism, which they openly state are "journalistic techniques" these days, to "scrutinize" the media itself, which holds their own "position of power" by influencing millions of people every single day with their bias, and often inaccurate reporting.
As more of the media meltdown in progress, the NYT publisher A.G. Sulzberger put out a "Dear Colleagues" letter, which is even being mocked by a former NYT writer, who states "I love & have written for @nytimes but this article & hysterical accompanying statement by the publisher are both totally bananas OMG a couple of dudes dig up dumb tweets by your young woke staffers & you act like its Pentagon Papers 2.0 Take a Xanax for your TDS next time." (TDS refers to Trump Derangement Syndrome)
In the second sentence of the accompanying letter, A.G. writes, "This unprecedented campaign appears designed to harass and embarrass anyone affiliated with independent news organizations that have asked tough questions and brought uncomfortable truths to light."
STOP: Has the liberal establishment media forgotten that they have been the ones that pushed the "Russian collusion" hoax for three years, and harassed and attempted to embarrass conservatives and Trump supporters since before the 2016 election, and attempted to destroy the real Independent Media websites that have "asked tough questions and brought uncomfortable truths to light?"
So, calling it an "unprecedented campaign" is an outright lie, it has just turned against them, but they first set the precedent with their new rules of journalism.
In the third paragraph, A.G. makes the following statement: "Now, the political operatives behind this campaign will argue that they are “reporting” on news organizations in the same way that news organizations report on elected officials and other public figures. They are not. They are using insinuation and exaggeration to manipulate the facts for political gain."
STOP AGAIN: This from one of the main proponents of the Russian collusion hoax, who used "insinuation and exaggeration to manipulate the facts for political gain," for more than three years. This is also from a paper that was recently quoted from a leaked internal meeting as admitting the built their newsroom around one story, the Russia story, and when that proved be a dud, decided to start tailoring their stores to focus them on "race."
The New York Times meltdown over this also appears to be contagious, as some of the headlines from other liberal writers show.

That is just the tip of the iceberg from the liberal side of the reactions.
CONSERVATIVES THINK IT IS ABOUT TIME THE MEDIA GOT A TASTE OF IT'S OWN MEDICINE
Conservative writers on the other hand, are seeing ironic justice play out, not only in this turning the liberal media establishment's own "journalistic techniques" back on them, but also at the absolute outrage liberals are expressing over the conservative groups' plans to give the media a taste of their own medicine.

There’s a literal army of compliant newshounds out on the Internet who are more than glad to plow through decades of private information on conservative public figures. Some have come forward on the most feeble grounds to attempt to ruin Justice Brett Kavanaugh, with the media playing see-no-evil, hear-no-evil dumb broker to their fabrications.
Now journalists appear to cower over Arthur Schwartz, a friend of Don Trump, Jr. Schwartz claims to have dirt on NYT editors and others. Tom Wright-Piersanti, an NYT politics editor, made his tweets private, as I’m sure will many other journalists.
Redstate, writes in a piece titled "Conservative Group Has Started Making Journalists Play By The New Rules And The Journalists Are Terrified Of What’s Coming":
So today, the New York Times reported that what was sauce for the goose will be sauce for the gander in 2020.
In that same piece, the writer concludes: "The media has long ago given up the pretense of being anything but an adjunct of the Democrat party. Their reporters a closely affiliated with far left outlets. The leaking of John Podesta’s emails showed that reporters, such as the incompetent lecher Glenn Thrush, sent their stories to Democrat operatives for approval. They are a combatant and they need to be treated as such."
Stephen Kruiser from PJ Media, says it all right in the headline: "Biased Media Upset That Trump Allies Are Pushing Back Against the Lies." His whole piece is a must read.
BizPac Review headlines with "NY Times journos brace for media war as Conservatives finally turn tables."
Again, those are just a sample of the conservative reaction to the tables being turned on the liberal establishment media, and the hilarity of their meltdown that is in progress.
Of course the reactions over on social media have been entertaining to say the least, but there are too many to cite them all, which is why we are glad that over at Twitchy, they compile it all for us all........ with six pieces so far as this story develops.
Liberal journalists are no doubt rushing to delete anything that can be used against them, after they have already been told that the old social media postings have already been collected, screen shots taken and archives built, which is a lot like locking the barn door after all the animals escaped.
Imagining them all hunting through a decade of their own posts in a panic to prepare for what could be reported about them, is highly entertaining.
For more than three years the liberal media establishment has attacked, denigraded, lied about and harassed conservatives or anyone that stands even a little to the right of their own political beliefs, while they have done their best to make themselves the story, and the victims.
Over the next 14 months we are going to kick back and watch the fall out of their own "journalistic techniques" being used against them, as they get their wish and become the story.
