Celente: 'The War Has Begun' - 'Mindlessly Angry Ignorant Masses'? Or Just Fed Up With Global Elite Destroying The Middle Class?

By Susan Duclos - All News PipeLine

It seems that James Traub, the wealthy heir to the Bloomingdale's chain, who just happens to be a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, thinks it is time for the "elite,"to "rise up against the ignorant masses,"  who are "mindlessly angry," which is how he describes those that voted to "leave" the European Union as those that support Donald Trump.

I'll admit at first I thought this was a satire piece, then I noted it was published at FP which is definitely not a satire site, then I checked to make sure there wasn't a .co after the .com indicating it was one of those new hoax sites that mimics the real thing in order to trick people into thinking it is a legitimate news source.

Nope. It is real. This "elitist" truly thinks it is "extremism," to be worried about the damage the globalist bankers and economists have done to the global economy. It is extremism to vote for "values and tradition." It is "ignorant" to worry about out of control migration and how foreign trade has destroyed the middle class and put record levels of people into poverty.

The pièce de résistance comes at the end where he states "It is necessary to say that people are deluded and that the task of leadership is to un-delude them."

There is no better example of the "globalist" mindset than Traub's article, titled "It’s Time for the Elites to Rise Up Against the Ignorant Masses." The subheader states "The Brexit has laid bare the political schism of our time. It’s not about the left vs. the right; it’s about the sane vs. the mindlessly angry."

Let's break it does with a couple key quotes from the article.

"The issue, at bottom, is globalization. Brexit, Trump, the National Front, and so on show that political elites have misjudged the depth of the anger at global forces and thus the demand that someone, somehow, restore the status quo ante. It may seem strange that the reaction has come today rather than immediately after the economic crisis of 2008, but the ebbing of the crisis has led to a new sense of stagnation. With prospects of flat growth in Europe and minimal income growth in the United States, voters are rebelling against their dismal long-term prospects. And globalization means culture as well as economics: Older people whose familiar world is vanishing beneath a welter of foreign tongues and multicultural celebrations are waving their fists at cosmopolitan elites. I was recently in Poland, where a far-right party appealing to nationalism and tradition has gained power despite years of undeniable prosperity under a centrist regime. Supporters use the same words again and again to explain their vote: 'values and tradition.' They voted for Polishness against the modernity of Western Europe. "

Emphasis mine. Note he doesn't address the fact that the reason there is "flat growth in Europe and minimal income growth in the United States," is because of globalization, which started with post-1945 order imposed on the world by the United States and its allies, otherwise known as the beginning of the New World Order/One World Order implementation to wipe out borders, strip nations of their sovereignty and put the "international community" above what is best for individual sovereign nations.

Traub addresses the rise of Donald Trump:

Donald Trump has, of course, set a new standard for disingenuousness and catering to voters’ fears, whether over immigration or foreign trade or anything else he can think of. The Republican Party, already rife with science-deniers and economic reality-deniers, has thrown itself into the embrace of a man who fabricates realities that ignorant people like to inhabit.

All one has to do is look at the shrinking middle class here in the U.S., where in 1971 they comprised 61 percent of the population but as of 2015, that number was down to 49.9 percent, to understand why people are "angry" at the so-called "elite." Their globalization agenda has stripped our nation of jobs, manufacturing, retailer after retailer closing or downsizing, the number of people on welfare at astounding, unsustainable levels, as well as seeing the number of people no longer in the workforce but able and willing to work, at extremely high levels.

Researching this article I ran across an older graphic which shows that after WWII manufacturing and agriculture employed one in three workers and by 2009, that numbers was one out of eight.

As of 2015, the U.S. trade deficit with China hit a record high of $365.7 billion, according to USEconomy.about.com:

The trade deficit exists because U.S. exports to China were only $116.2 billion while imports from China hit a new record of $481.9 billion. The deficit keeps growing because imports are rising faster than exports.

Also consider the following point,  via CNN Money:

Since 1970, upper class households saw their median income soar 47% to $174,600 in 2014. Meanwhile, the middle class only got a 34% boost to $73,400. Still, they have been more prosperous than the lower-income Americans, who only received a 28% bump to $24,074.

Some research shows that increased income inequality and a hollowing out of a nation's middle class stunts economic growth, Kochhar said.

The point being that since globalization the middle class and lower class has suffered.... Traub is right about one thing, Americans are "angry," but it isn't mindless anger, it is directed exactly where it should be.... toward people like him, the self-described "elitist."

Traub says the following about the Brexit vote:

The schism we see opening before us is not just about policies, but about reality. The Brexit forces won because cynical leaders were prepared to cater to voters’ paranoia, lying to them about the dangers of immigration and the costs of membership in the EU.

Were those "cynical leaders" lying about Europe's migrant crisis, happening now, due to the massive influx of immigrants dictated by the EU, where Sweden is suffering a "rape epidemic," Paris has become a massive camp for illegal migrants, in Germany Christian refugees are being persecuted by Muslims at the same time as their rape crisis worsens?

Perhaps the best argument that Britain's voters were not "paranoid" when they voted to exit the EU was revealed  when the Express UK and The Daily Mail reported the globalists of the EU were planning to unveil "their long-held plan to morph the continent’s countries into one GIANT SUPERSTATE ."

The foreign ministers of France and Germany are due to reveal a blueprint to effectively do away with individual member states in what is being described as an "ultimatum".

Under the radical proposals EU countries will lose the right to have their own army, criminal law, taxation system or central bank, with all those powers being transferred to Brussels.

Traub concludes his diatribe with the following:

Did I say “ignorant”? Yes, I did. It is necessary to say that people are deluded and that the task of leadership is to un-delude them. Is that “elitist”? Maybe it is; maybe we have become so inclined to celebrate the authenticity of all personal conviction that it is now elitist to believe in reason, expertise, and the lessons of history. If so, the party of accepting reality must be prepared to take on the party of denying reality, and its enablers among those who know better. If that is the coming realignment, we should embrace it.

I submit it is Traub that is deluded and it is the "task" of the people of Europe and America to "un-delude" him and his ilk. I also sumbit that it is Traub that cannot accept the "reality" of the fact that the "mindless" sheeple would eventually wake up, stand up and fight back as we now note that up to 34 referendums are set to rock the European Union in what is being described as a "Brexit tsunami."

BOTTOM LINE

Globalists are now so disconnected from that reality that they ignore the fact that since they started implenting their "one world" agenda, the global economy has suffered as we see talk of another global recession on the horizon, and the "angry" masses are finally turning their eyes to those responsible. They will of course attempt to blame the massive crash on the Brexit vote and may even deliberately organize it in order to blame the "mindless angry," for all the problems across the world.

Those that have been paying attention though, know the warnings have been coming for years, way before Brexit was even thought of.

Below - Trends Journal publisher Gerald Celente gives Infowars his dire predictions for the world economy after the globalists were shocked by Brexit, telling Alex Jones "The war has begun."

Celente then predicts: "They will fight and do anything they can to remain in power and rob us of our rights. They will start wars. They will enslave their own people."
