The Countdown Has Begun - Video Proof US TOW Weapon Used To Blow Up Russian Rescue Helicopter Days After U.S. Senator Suggests Shooting Russian Planes Down

The countdown to a nuclear World War III has begun and many wonder if the events that set the clock ticking when Turkey shot down a Russian Su-24 flown by a pair of Russian pilots, followed by a U.S. backed Syrian rebel, using an American-made anti-tank missile blew up a Russian rescue helicopter, was the moment the world hit the point of no return.

The image above is a screenshot taken from the video you are about to see below, reportedly released by the Free Syrian Army rebel group, a group that recently humiliated Barack Obama in another video where the al-Qaeda affiliated Al-Nusra Front listed as a terrorist organization by the U.S. State Department, was seen thanking members of the Free Syrian Army for providing them with  U.S. supplied weaponry, including TOW anti-tank missiles such as the one used to blow up the Russian rescue helicopter that was on a search and rescue mission  for the pilots of the Su-24 jet downed by Turkey in Syria.

Article continues below the video.

The BGM-71 TOW (Tube-launched, Optically tracked, Wire-guided) is one of the most widely used anti-tank guided missiles, which has been produced in the US since the 1970s.

If the video above is as the Free Syrian Army (FSA) purports, then they have provided Russia proof that U.S. supplied and manufactured weaponry is responsible for the murder of their helicopter rescue pilots.

October Flashback from MintPress:

The Obama Administration recently announced that its $500 million plan to train and equip vetted “moderate” rebels was a total failure. Incredibly, the U.S. came up with an even worse plan – remove the training and vetting requirement of the program, and start sending military equipment.

The new protocol embraced by the U.S. would require only leaders of the rebel groups to be vetted. Once the leader of the group is vetted weapons would flow to the group, no questions asked.

Moving quickly to operationalize their new strategy, the U.S. airdropped 50 tons of weapons and ammunition to the newly branded “Syrian Arab Coalition” forces — a U.S. rebel group re-branded, but known for its unreliability and willingness to hand weapons over to al-Qaeda and ISIS.

Ironically this comes after  South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham publicly stated that he tell Russian President Vladimir Putin "if you bomb the people that we train in Syria, I shoot your plane’s down."

I would shoot his planes down, I would literally shoot his planes down if he attacked the people we trained because we have to do that. It is not right by the American president to entice people to come to a fight, train and equip them, side with them on their cause, and sit back and watch them being slaughtered by an adversary of their people and adversary of the United States.

In that same interview Graham also stated "I would put Putin on notice that you’re not going to destabilize countries with military intervention."

Keep that in mind when you listen below to Graham attacking United States Secretary of Defense Ashton B. Carter for not intervening and destabilizing Syria even more with military help to remove Syrian President Bashar Assad.

The hypocrisy is astounding as Graham takes Carter to task for not promising to take on Russia, who backs Syria's duly elected leader Assad. So in one breath Graham threatens Russia for "military intervention" to which Putin has the full support of Syrian leadership to intervene, and in the next Graham expresses anger that the U.S. will not provide military intervention against Syria's leadership!

Anyone else see something wrong with this picture?
