Many eyes are on the Middle East right now, but the Russia/Ukraine war is the one most likely to be the war that is going to get America nuked, in the long run.
While we continue to see headlines predicting a world war is on the horizon, I stand by my assertion that World War III already began and is ongoing. Nether NATO nor the United Nations existed before 1945. The League of Nations became the United Nations, but when created, the Soviet Union was one of the four world powers, along with the UK, The U.S. and China, that was supposed to control the UN, until the Soviet Union vetoed certain cold war issues.
The reason for that very brief history reminder is to show that all indicators of involvement in a war that had it later categorized as a World War, such as boots on the ground and actively fighting, have been expanded in large part due to technology, rapid transportation (such as weapons and ammunitions), and the ability on the part of the U.S. to browbeat and threaten other nations to abide by sanctions.
A little bit about sanctions, which historically has been an America tool. First and foremost, sanctions via blockades were previously tried in WWI and WWII, largely unsuccessful, until roughly 1950.
From 1950 to 2019, the US turned to sanctions far more often than other countries, according to a Quartz analysis of historic sanctions using the Global Sanctions Database.
Quartz | qz.com Data: Global Sanctions Database Note: The analysis considered every sanction effort by individual countries, rather than grouping collective.
The lackluster success rate for sanctions over this period has not deterred the US. Indeed, its willingness to throw its economic weight around to change other countries’ behavior has remained a constant since the 1950s.
The definition of a World War, via Britannica, is simply "a war involving many nations of the world."
Now sanctions include:
• Economic sanctions: Trade barriers, freezing assets, taking assets from one country to give to another, tariffs, naval blockades, etc....
• Diplomatic sanctions, the reduction or removal of diplomatic ties, such as embassies. These also include limiting or cancelling high-level govt visits or expelling or withdrawing diplomatic missions or staff.
• Military sanctions: those include military strikes to arms embargos.
• Individual sanctions: These are sanctions against individual members of a nation, such as politicians or economic bigwigs.
The point is, taking action against a nation that harms their nation or their citizens, in and of itself, is an act of war.

A WAR INVOLVING MANY NATIONS OF THE WORLD........
We'll start with the United Nations and their resolutions against Russia due to their war with Ukraine.
As of February 2023, there were 102 countries that voted in favor of four different resolutions against Russia. 47countries voted for or abstained in at least one resolution. 16 countries voted to abstain from all resolutions. 19 countries that voted against or abstained from at least one resolution. Four countries that voted against all resolutions, one of which was Russia. Four countries that were absent in all resolutions. (Source)
Those are just resolutions, but show that the definition of "many nations" being involved, in some way, has been met by the UN.
As for NATO, they were founded in 1949, after both World Wars. In 2022, CNBC produced two maps showing NATOs growth, and their move eastward right t the edges of Russia.
Caveat: Both Sweden and Finland have joined NATO since these maps were published.
Europe 1990:
Europe 2022:
Russia's border with other European nations is now almost completely lined with NATO members.
Aside from NATO bases on the Russia's border, the US armed forces also have a presence in other sites alongside NATO which now has multinational battlegroups in Bulgaria, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania and Slovakia, but there are a number of US-controlled 'base sites' that have relatively close proximity to Russia. The US has military bases within striking distance of Russia both in Europe and Asia. (Source)
While many might think after seeing the maps and information above, that NATO would be seen as the biggest threat to Russia, but since the U.S. is the defacto leader of NATO, it is the U.S. that has been declared by Russia as its biggest security threat, in their military policy doctrine of 2023, the first since 2016.
Sanctions are perhaps the best gauge as to how many countries are "attacking" Russia over the war in Ukraine, because they target Russia in a variety of ways that weren't feasible in the two other World Wars.
Between the number of nations joining resolutions against Russia (102), along with 30 different countries joining the U.S. in sanctioning Russia, that most definitely matches the :many nations" criteria for what is considered a World War.
WORLD WAR III HEATS UP........
Keeping in mind the fact that Russia is a nuclear capable country that has made it clear that in a fight for survival they would use nuclear weapons, recent news becomes all the more concerning.
Nato must be ready for Russia launching an “existential” war against the Baltic states “masked by a blizzard of disinformation”, ambassadors from the three countries have warned.
Writing exclusively for The Sunday Telegraph, the top diplomats to the UK from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania said that Russia could “pivot quickly” from Ukraine to invade the Baltic.
And they said that Vladimir Putin’s brutalisation of Ukraine is evoking the three countries’ “darkest memories” of occupation under Stalin.
The Estonian ambassador Viljar Lubi, the Latvian ambassador Ivita Burmistre, and Lithuania’s charge d’affaire Lina Zigmantaite, wrote the joint article to mark Friday’s 20 year anniversary of their countries acceding to Nato.
While it may sound cold, Europe and wars in Europe are not the business of the U.S., and we should keep our noses out of it. Unless Russia attacks close to home, which Ukraine is not, and neither is Estonia, Lativa or Lithuania.
Let Europe protect Europe and stop sending tens of billions of U.S. taxpayer money to Ukraine, stop protecting their borders when the Biden regime refuses to protect ours, and rebuild our military which is facing recruitment shortages, especially since the U.S. military went "woke." Biden has left America short on certain ammunitions, which he accidentally admitted in 2023.
If the U.S. keeps poking at Russia, forcing Russia to act, Americans will be on their own because as we have seen with the invasion of our southern border, Biden's puppet masters care more about foreign nations than it does about their own people.
