Antifa Terrorism: Feds Investigating Activists That Planned 'Armed Rebellion At The Border' With Guns Purchased From Mexican-Based Cartel

Quick Flashback: In September 2017 it was revealed that a "confidential 2016 joint intelligence assessment by DHS and the FBI," labeled activities by leftist extremists known as "Antifa," as "domestic terrorist violence" as the groups that fall under the label Antifa had become increasingly violent and dangerous.

Previously unreported documents disclose that by April 2016, authorities believed that “anarchist extremists” were the primary instigators of violence at public rallies against a range of targets. They were blamed by authorities for attacks on the police, government and political institutions, along with symbols of “the capitalist system,” racism, social injustice and fascism, according to a confidential 2016 joint intelligence assessment by DHS and the FBI.

Now we see that an unclassified December 2018 document obtained by The San Diego Union Tribune, under the condition that the person providing it would not be named and that the entire FBI report not be published online because it is an ongoing investigation, reveals that Antifa activists were planning to "stage an armed rebellion at the border."

According to the FBI report that was shared with dozens of law enforcement agencies in the U.S. and Mexico, these Antifa activists were planning to purchase the weaponry from a "Mexico-based cartel associate known as Cobra Commander," known as Ivan Riebeling.

The document warns of “anti-fascist activists” that “planned to disrupt U.S. law enforcement and military security operations at the US/Mexican border.”

Two additional law enforcement officials confirmed the investigation is ongoing, although no one has been charged. “Unclassified” means information can be released to people without a security clearance, but the document was also labeled “law enforcement sensitive,” which means it was intended to be seen only by those in law enforcement.

“This is an information report, not finally evaluated intelligence,” the six-page report states. “Receiving agencies are requested not to take action based on this raw reporting without prior coordination with the FBI.”

The FBI sent its report with “priority” to the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the Drug Enforcement Agency, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the Central Intelligence Agency and the National Security Administration, among other agencies.

The two people actually named in the report, Ivan Riebeling and Evan Duke, deny the allegations.

Having documented how Antifa groups have become increasingly violent over the course of the last three years, it is astounding that individual groups that have been arrested are not being officially designated as terrorist groups, as we see another more recent example of how out of control and dangerous they have become.

ANTIFA GROUP ATTACKS INDEPENDENT JOURNALIST

On Saturday, April 27, 2019, Independent journalists and videographer who runs the YouTube channel 'THAT'S THE POINT with Brandon," went to a Huntington Beach "March Against Sanctuary State" where a group of Antifa thugs, in masks and carrying sticks attacked him as he was trying to interview them. He caught the action in a 1:11 minute clip, shown below.

Another Independent journalist from News2Share captured the aftermath of the attack as police arrested at least three Antifa thugs. The video showing the police handcuffing and hauling them off to jail.

The report in the video description states:

Today antifa and other left-wing activists counter-demonstrated a "March Against Sanctuary State" pro-Trump protest in Huntington Beach, CA. Three were arrested after a pro-Trump Youtuber was hit in the head, causing it to bleed. It is unclear whether all three participated in the attack.

While three were arrested, the injured Youtuber said only knows "for sure" that one hit him, and says he "doesn't know about the other one." He thought only two were arrested.

Interestingly enough, the liberal mainstream media, that so often whines about verbal "attacks" on journalists, and chants of "Fake News," and "CNN Sucks" at Trump rallies, is silent on this actual physical attack by Antifa against a member of the Independent Media.

One article at the OC Register reported on the attack, along with a running set of Tweets and photos of the march and the counter-protesters, and other than that, the only ones reporting on this violent attack are conservative Independent Media websites such as Infowars and BizPac Review.

Big League Politics covered the march and counter-protest, highlighting that as law enforcement was mediating between the protesters and counter-protesters, one cop fell off his horse and Antifa was calling for the death of the cop stating "Save the horse, kill the pig."

Daily Caller highlights that during a recent CNN discussion, Chris Cuomo, once again decided to defend Antifa calling them a "good cause." (Video at the DC):

Cuomo apparently does not blame Antifa for the violence as he said, “There are certain aspects of [Antifa] that are true to a cause. That is a good cause. They want social justice."

That brought this response from Cortes: “Antifa is not a good cause. Antifa does not have good aims. Antifa wants power, wants political power, taken through force. That’s what Antifa is all about.”

Cuomo insisted he was “not here to espouse Antifa,” which Cortez responded with, “Sure sounds like it.”

For the CNN host, the debate was all about Antifa having some values that are intrinsically American and therefore “you don’t draw a moral equivalency between neo-Nazis and the people that are there to fight against them.”

This is not the first time the media, including CNN and specifically Cuomo, has defended Antifa's violence. Back in August 2018, he claimed Antifa groups were "on the side of right," and "People who show up to fight against bigots are not to be judged the same as the bigots, even if they do resort to the same petty violence."

"I argue to you tonight, all punches are not equal morally," he said. "In the eyes of the law, yes. But in the eyes of good and evil, here's the argument: if you're a punk that comes to start trouble in a mask and hurt people, you're not about any virtuous cause. You're just somebody who's going to be held to the standard of doing something wrong."

"But when someone comes to call out bigots and it gets hot, even physical, are they equally wrong as the bigot they are fighting? I argue, no. Fighting against hate matters," Cuomo concluded.

CNN sides with left-wing terrorism every chance they get.

BOTTOM LINE

As the flashback at the top of the article shows, Antifa activities has been considered "domestic terrorist violence," since before President Trump took office, yet the liberal mainstream media continues to defend violence from the left against conservatives, when they even deign to report on it, and despite the fact that those very activities, including planning an "armed rebellion," at the border, is considered terrorism by law enforcement.

It is time for individual Antifa groups that have been documented using violence against innocent citizens, to be officially designated as domestic terrorists.
