While public-health officials and politicians in California, New Mexico, Texas and other states and cities being hit hard by the surge of these diseases are using words like 'disaster' and 'public-health crisis' to describe these outbreaks, they've also warned these diseases can easily jump beyond the homeless population into the general public.
And while The Atlantic story didn't bring up the possibility of ebola making its way into the United States with illegal immigrants from the hard hit Congo pouring into the United States 'en masse' and being shipped into cities all across the country, we have to take a look within this ANP story at a new viral outbreak that is happening all across the world within the animal kingdom and beginning in Asia where several mass outbreaks have begun as also heard in the 1st video at the bottom of this story.
So with this new story from Channel News Asia reporting that 'pig ebola' can live on almost anything and is almost possible to kill and this National Post story reporting that no country is safe from it spreading, we'll take a look within the next section of this story at why doctors, scientists and politicians are so concerned about the spread of pig ebola and its already felt impact on the global food system before taking a look in the final 2 sections of this story at what we can do now to prepare our bodies for almost any potential outbreak of almost any kind of viral diseases/illnesses here in America.
According to this story over at The Week saved at Archive titled "Why everyone’s talking about swine fever", "this is the biggest animal disease outbreak we’ve ever had on the planet and we have no way to stop it from spreading". While their story also reported that they've been trying everything to stop the spread of the disease, they also reported that the small Italian island of Sardinia has been trying unsuccessfully to get rid of the virus for four decades, and its pig population is much smaller than China’s. “When a virus becomes endemic like that, we’re going to be living with this forever,” Matthew Stone, deputy director-general at the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE), told AFP.
The disease causes pigs to internally haemorrhage until they die, so killing contaminated animals is the only way to contain it.
North Korea, Cambodia, Hong Kong and Mongolia have all reported cases this year, along with Romania, Ukraine, Moldova and Russia.
Consumption of infected meat – the resilient disease can live for months in pork products like sausage – is a major contributor to its spread in China, “where many small farmers feed their pigs household garbage, although the government has now placed restrictions on swill feeding”, says Time.
“It’s spreading like wildfire in Asia because... the pig is the garbage truck of Asia,” Simon Quilty, an independent meat and livestock analyst based in Australia, told Rfi.
The implications of the outbreak are already being felt beyond Asia. Global pork prices have risen by almost 40% and long term it is likely to lead to more pork imports from Europe and America to meet demand, with experts believing it will also push up global meat prices.
Market analyst Rabobank told the Guardian that pork supplies across the globe could fall by 8%.
And with heart diseases already roaring back in America with the death rate rising for middle-aged Americans, the Wall Street Journal reports that we can guess why: "The obesity epidemic and related rise in the prevalence of Type 2 diabetes are key culprits in the new wave of cardiovascular disease." And in their story titled "America’s Biggest Killer Makes a Deadly Comeback", they report that "younger people, women and nonsmokers are more likely to be victims of the crisis in cardiovascular health, driven by skyrocketing obesity and diabetes."
Yet as we'll see in the final two sections of our story below, all of that is preventable with a very simple change in our diets.
According to this excellent story over at Trans4Mind, one of the biggest health problems facing most Americans in this day and age we're now living in is the extremely high acid-producing diets that most of us have, with research proving that unless our bodies pH levels are slightly alkaline, our bodies cannot heal themselves.
As that story also pointed out, stress, smoking and lack of adequate sleep also leads to the production of acid within our bodies while also pointing out that, even if we're otherwise taking good care of our health, it won't matter if our bodies are overly acidic. From their story.:
A surprising number and variety of physical problems and diseases can be caused by the problem of foods that are acid-producing after digestion. Today the vast majority of the populace in industrialized nations suffers from problems caused by the stress of acidosis, because both modern lifestyle and diet promote acidification of the body's internal environment.
The current typical Western diet is largely composed of acid-forming foods (proteins, cereals, sugars). Alkaline-producing foods such as vegetables are eaten in much smaller quantities. Stimulants like tobacco, coffee, tea, and alcohol are also extremely acidifying. Stress, and physical activity (both insufficient or excessive amounts) also cause acidification.
So no matter what means you choose to take care of your health, it won't be effective until the pH level is balanced. If your body's pH is not balanced, for example, you cannot effectively assimilate vitamins, minerals and food supplements. Your body pH affects everything.
In fact, as we see in the list of symptoms and diseases below which can be caused by our high acid diets, everything from type 2 diabetes to heart disease to cancer can be caused by a high acid producing diet, destroying our immune system's ability to fight off sicknesses but also giving us another reason to get our bodies to an alkaline level as quickly as possible. And we can do that as we'll see in the final section below. Once again, from their story.:
Acidosis will decrease the body's ability to absorb minerals and other nutrients, decrease the energy production in the cells, decrease it's ability to repair damaged cells, decrease it's ability to detoxify heavy metals, make tumor cells thrive, and make it more susceptible to fatigue and illness.
An acidic pH can occur from an acid-forming diet, emotional stress, toxic overload, and/or immune reactions or any process that deprives the cells of oxygen and other nutrients. The body will try to compensate for acidic pH by using alkaline minerals. If the diet does not contain enough minerals to compensate, a build up of acids in the cells will occur.
Acidosis can cause such problems as:
Weight gain, obesity and diabetes.
Acceleration of free radical damage.
Osteoporosis and joint pain.
Aching muscles and lactic acid buildup.
Low energy and chronic fatigue.
Slow digestion and elimination.
Lack of energy and fatigue.
Lower body temperature.
Tendency to get infections.
Loss of drive, joy, and enthusiasm.
Depressive tendencies. Easily stressed.
Inflammation of the corneas and eyelids.
Loose and painful teeth.
Inflamed, sensitive gums.
Mouth and stomach ulcers.
Cracks at the corners of the lips.
Excess stomach acid. Gastritis.
Nails are thin and split easily.
Hair looks dull, has split ends, and falls out.
Dry skin. Skin easily irritated.
Leg cramps and spasms.
So how can we make ourselves much more healthy and build up our own resistance to illnesses and disease? Getting our bodies to an alkaline level isn't as hard as it might sound but without a doubt, changes to our diets are absolutely necessary though the changes aren't as hard as some might expect. (Click on this link or right click on chart above, open in new tab to see much bigger!)
The chart above showing the PH levels of different kinds of foods gives us an excellent guide to get started and as this story recommends, we'll need to switch over our diets to approximately 70% alkaline foods while still eating about 30% of acid-causing foods. So if you think that you'll have to give up eating meat to accomplish an alkaline diet, great news, you won't! I've personally switched over to an alkaline diet by simply eating 4 to 5 small 'meals' a day, with each of those meals focusing on foods that are alkaline such as almost any fruit or vegetable while attempting to eliminate all processed foods from my diet.
So with one of the biggest fights of our lives ahead of us as the globalists continue to bring masses of illegal immigrants into this country who are bringing 3rd world diseases along with them and a mass culling and drug shortages on top of everything else as Susan Duclos reported in this ANP story, and all of this happening at a time when our food supply here in America appears to be under asymmetric attack, we stand a much better chance of making it through to the other side if our bodies and immune systems are in tip top shape, and ready for any kind of pestilence or disease that the globalists can unleash upon us.
