Did Trump Just Pull Off The Biggest Sting Operation in History, Against The 'Deep State' Within The Intel Community?

By Susan Duclos - All News PipeLine

Anyone who ever watched the television show The Apprentice when Donald Trump was sitting in the "Big Chair" understood how he used adversity in business to weed out the weak links. Anyone that followed his candidacy from his announcement when he polled at like three percent, to weeding out his opponents one by one to become the Republican nominee, then on to win the general election, saw how he used the obvious anti-Trump bias within the liberal media, against them for his benefit, by using their own assumptions to force them to cover things like his "pre-debate" presser which ended up being wall-to-wall coverage of Clinton sexual abuse victims, or their assumptions that a news conference would be about his "birther" statements, just to provide him more wall-to-wall coverage of military veteran after military veterans endorsing him.

If there was one thing Trump knew and still knows, it is that he can count on the media........ to cover anything they perceive as anti-Trump.

A time line of events shows that is it not only possible, but extremely likely, that President Trump and Michael Flynn, along with other White House insiders have just pulled off the biggest sting operation in history against the "deep state," in order to weed out the traitors within the intelligence community, and that they used the liberal media and their inherent bias to pull it off.

Before President Trump was inaugurated, he knew there was a serious issue within the intelligence community, evidenced by a January 3, 2017 tweet regarding a briefing that was delayed, where he stated "The 'Intelligence' briefing on so-called 'Russian hacking' was delayed until Friday, perhaps more time needed to build a case. Very strange!"

The trap was set,  and within a day of that tweet the media once again scurried to report "Trump attacks" intelligence community, reported both CNN and Washington Post, among others, with NBC headlining with "DNI Chief Clapper Takes Swipe at Trump, Assange as He Defends Russia Hack Intel."

On January 5 , 2017, Trump went after them again, encouraging Congress to investigate the intelligence leaks, asking first "How did NBC get "an exclusive look into the top secret report he (Obama) was presented?"  Who gave them this report and why? Politics!" He followed that up on the 6th, with "I am asking the chairs of the House and Senate committees to investigate the top secret intelligence shared with NBC prior to me seeing it."

By January 11, 2017, knowing their were significant leaks coming from somewhere, Donald Trump set up a sting operation. In order to eliminate the possibility of leaks regarding his intelligence briefings coming from within his inner circle, he schedule a briefing and didn't inform anyone in his own transition team, yet immediately after the briefing, word leaked.

He explained what he had done and called the intelligence community out publicly, shown in the clip below.

'Somebody’s leaking them out,’ Trump said, after inveighing against leaks generally.

‘So I said, "Maybe it’s my office. Maybe my office." Because I’ve got a lot of people … Maybe it’s them?’

‘What I did, is I said I won’t tell anyone. I’m going to have a meeting, and I won’t tell anybody about my meeting with intelligence,’ Trump continued.

He even shielded one of his closest aides from word of the meeting. ‘Nobody knew – not even Rhona, my executive assistant for years. She didn’t know – I didn’t tell her. Nobody knew,’ Trump continued – drawing laughter from collected family members and staff.

Having set the trap, Trump says the word leaked anyway. ‘The meeting was held. They left, and immediately the word got out that I had a meeting. So, I don’t want that. It’s very unfair to the country. It’s very unfair to our country what’s happening,’ he said.

That told us quite a bit about how Trump operates, he uses the media, specifically their bias, to set traps, then he uses a process of elimination to narrow down a suspect list, and then he calls them out publicly.

The intelligence community was not amused, as evidenced by Senate Minority leader Chuck Schumer, going on MSNBC and stating outright that the intelligence community was "very upset with how he has treated them and talked about them," asserting that they had "six ways from Sunday at getting back at you."

If you are Trump, are you prepared to wait months, perhaps years into your administration for "congressional investigations" into intelligence community leaks, all the while knowing you have traitors inside your administration's highest agencies?

Or do you say, "bring it on?"

Think of the Benghazi inquiry, Fast and Furious, IRS targeting of conservative groups, the Clinton private email server investigations..... how long did those investigations take? What did they produce? How many heads rolled?

I have seen people claim Michael Flynn was made into a 'scapegoat," and that is quite possible, but a look at how much has been revealed about the "deep state" which even liberal outlets are acknowledging, and how the media's own liberal bias has exposed the fact that "nine" anonymous sources within the intelligence community "leaked" information, and by reporting those "leaks," specifically the transcripts from calls made from within the White House, which is even more "highly restricted" access, they have publicly narrowed down the list of suspected traitors to approximately one hundred, when before it was in the thousands that work within the different intelliegence agencies.

The media spin is that Michael Flynn has just been brought down in a major blow to Trump.... but was he?

His resignation letter makes it clear he was using standard operating procedure that all incoming administration use as part of a transition, stating "In the course of my duties as the incoming National Security Advisor, I held numerous phone calls with foreign counterparts, ministers, and ambassadors. These calls were to facilitate a smooth transition and begin to build the necessary relationships between the President, his advisors and foreign leaders. Such calls are standard practice in any transition of this magnitude."

Perhaps more importantly, and something that the MSM has not focused on, is that those who have gone over the transcripts that were leaked illegally to the MSM, have stated that there was no criminal wrongdoing on the part of Flynn. That news flew under most of the radar on February 15, 2017.

So, Flynn's reputation is intact, the "deep state" has been exposed by none other than the MSM in their rush to produce anything "anti-Trump," the suspect list of who is behind the leaks has been narrowed from thousands to a hundred, House Republicans are seeking investigation into illegal Justice Department leaks, and Trump has done this all in less than a month in office, quite possibly with the help of Flynn.

Note what else Flynn said in his resignation letter:  "I am tendering my resignation, honored to have served our nation and the American people in such a distinguished way."

Was Flynn a scapegoat or was he an integral and willing part of baiting the trap and exposing the truth in order to "serve our nation?"

The answer to that could be in a President Trump tweet from this morning, February 16, 2017, where he states "The spotlight has finally been put on the low-life leakers! They will be caught!"

Indeed, it has. The MSM might as well have put a huge bullseye on the backs of the leakers.

Trump might as well be paying the media lackies for doing his work for him. Trump could have screamed all day long about a intelligence community conspiracy against him and many would have waved it off as paranoia, but the MSM proved it for him, brought the "deep state" and the "shadow government" into the public eye in their attempt to bring down Flynn and ultimately the Trump administration.

He should send them some flowers or a gift basket, for proving in less than a month the truth of what Independent Media has been yelling from the rooftops for years.
