Sampling Of Insanity Shows How America Has Become A 'Nation Of Crazy' - Fake News, Farting Cows & The War Against White Men: Half Of America Has Truly Gone Nuts
Browsing through the news online today, like almost everyday, brings up stories that spark a variety of reactions, from me shaking my head in wonder that I am actually reading what I am reading, to my exclamation to Stefan of "you won't believe this," to me staring at the words before me and thinking "this just has to be satire or a hoax," just to find out, nope, it isn't.
The sampling of insanity below, indicates to me that America, or at least half of it, has become a "nation of crazy."
THE WAR ON 'WHITE HETEROSEXUAL MEN' RAGES ON........
The magazine Esquire published part one of their "Growing Up in America Today" new series, which will be in their March issue. The titled of this first part is "The Life of an American Boy at 17." There is nothing spectacular about the piece, it simply describes what life is like for a 17 year old boy, but the "crazy" comes in as a self-described "video journalist & producer," that happens to also describe himself as a "queer dude," has an absolute cow on Twitter.
Judah Robinson, who has himself a little blue verified checked account on Twitter, states "What kind of garbage is this @esquire? Media really needs to stop covering the white, cis-gendered, heterosexual man in America as if it is an underrepresented group. It is f*cking dangerous."
First off I had to scramble to my search engine to figure out what the heck a "cis-gendered" person is. "Cisgender": "is a term for people whose experiences of their own gender agree with the sex they were assigned at birth."
Oh, someone that is not confused as to whether they are a man or a woman because they understand if they were born with a penis, GUY, or born with a vagina, GIRL! They had to create a special word for those of us not gender-confused. Why not just call them "Gender-UNconfused?"
Maybe, just maybe, Esquire highlighted a young, white male, in the first part of their series because a group of Catholic "white, gender-UNconfused, heterosexual" teenagers were just attacked violently by the media in a hoax story claiming they in their MAGA hats, somehow surrounded and abused an elderly Indian Vietnam vet, just to find out they didn't surround him, they didn't mock him and guy wasn't even a Vietnam veteran.
Lest readers think the clueless "journalist" was the only one complaining, HuffPost writer "Jenna Amatulli" weighed in on the far-left liberal publication describing the "controversy" the Esquire piece stirred up because the piece was released "during black history month," where she highlights other reactions from the "woke" crowd."
Former ESPN black racist Jemele Hill "Because you know what we don’t discuss nearly enough? The white male experience."
Another blue-checked user, Zara Rahim states "Imagine this same ‘American Boy’ headline with someone who looked like Trayvon talking about what it’s like to have your mother sit you down to tell you how to stay alive in your own city during Black History Month. Just imagine. Shame on you, @esquire."
On and on it goes, with the HuffPost piece ending the "reaction" portion of their piece with someone named Leslie Mack, who said "Ya’ll - this Cover Story in @esquire is thee WHITEST SH*T I’ve come across all... well all week at least. I’m so f*cking tired of press stories about poor white boys while marginalized people are actually dying because the current “era”."
Bunch of drama queens.
To understand the level of vitriol liberals threw out at Esquire for daring to write about a young white male, they ended up having to publish another article, explaining why they wrote the first article.
One last note about this before moving along to the next sampling of insanity.
The real reason liberal flaked out over the Esquire piece, was because the young white make was a supporter of President Trump:
“Ryan, raised in Republican households, was surprised by the vitriol. ‘Everyone hates me because I support Trump?’ he says. ‘I couldn’t debate anyone without being shut down and called names. Like, what did I do wrong?’”
BLOOMINGDALES COWERS TO LIBERAL JOURNALIST, APOLOGIZES FOR 'FAKE NEWS' T-SHIRT
True story, even though it may sound like satire. Bloomingdales had a T-shirt for sale that said "Fake News" on the front. One journalist complained to them, so they not only pulled the product but then felt forced to apologize for daring to make money selling an item of clothing that people wanted to purchase!
“Thank you for bringing this to our attention and we apologize for any offense we may have caused,” the company said in a statement posted to Twitter. “We take this feedback very seriously and are working quickly to remove this t-shirt. Again, thank you for taking the time to alert us.”
Via The Wrap, we see that Bloomingdales is just the latest example of clothing or accessories being pulled from stores because snowflake liberals and "journalists," simply can't handle anything they can manage to manufacture outrage over.
This month alone, Gucci was forced to pull a turtleneck sweater and apologize after critics said its design resembled blackface. Katy Perry’s shoe label was also forced to yank two designs over accusations that they too resembled blackface, according to TMZ. And in January, H&M apologized for using a young African-American boy to model its “Coolest Monkey in the Jungle” hoodie.
Side Note- As to Katy Perry's pulling her shoes, well, nothing to do with the black or white faces represented on the shoes, they should have been pulled just because they are butt ugly!
This category was definitely a two-fer, not only businesses removing profitable products because of butthurt liberals, but the fact that anybody created those shoes, fits under my "nation of crazy" theme.
THE NEW GREEN DEAL: FARTING COWS AND PAYING PEOPLE 'UNWILLING' TO WORK
As many probably already know, House Democrat congress-child Alexadria Ocasio-Cortez sponsored a new "Green Deal" non-binding resolution, and launched a FAQ page on her website, which has since been scrubbed from the site after a number of ridiculous statements caused massive backlash, including her references to "cow farts" and assertion that people "unwilling to work," should be paid.
First her people claimed it was a 'GOP document," then had to walk that back. Then they claimed the FAQ page had uploaded a "draft," mistakenly. It has been chaos since they uploaded it, revised it, then removed it all within a day.
An archive version, before the initial revisions, where it talks about getting rid of "farting cows" and airplanes, and offers "Economic security for all who are unable or unwilling to work," is available for those that want to read the original FAQ page, since the one on her site now comes back as a "Page not found."
Yes, this was a document uploaded onto a congressional website, produced by an actual representative, which definitely fits the "insanity" definition, but to make it worse, Democrats that have announced their are running for the office of President in 2020 against President Trump, have signed on to co-sponsor this hot mess of a resolution.
BOTTOM LINE
I had a few more items of insanity on my written list to cover, but this piece is getting long, and I have no doubt we will see more before the week is out, most likely before the day is finished.
